1) You ain't kidding!!! I am in the South and we got some nice temps the past few days (except Saturday LOL) and I was out on the lake for a bit today and EVERY boat was up shallow.. It was one boat after another on the same exact spots... Per my electronics we are still at about 49 degree water temps..

I'm not a fan of fishing bass during their spawn. But I can see the appeal for those that struggle to target them any other way. To each your own. Bass are fun to catch but leave them be when they're trying to shack up.

On the lake now. Been here since 7am. Can’t find a thing, hence why I’m on TH-cam. 50-53 degree water. I’m ready to sell the boat and take up golf.
the usual excellence from you.....this season, my buddy and I will have 360 on our small boats, and we are hoping it will help us to spot some of the those subtle stopping spots that you are talking about.
Those are some excellent points! I know I get excited every year for the pre-spawn and can get a little ahead of myself. But I need to be mindful of what those bass are really doing based on the conditions and time of year.
