Love the accuracy comment. I've often said of summer fishing that "my best fish always come from my best casts".

I'm so happy u don't live down here in Central Florida. Ur info is really spot on. When ur fishing at a high level and you get dialed in this time of year can be very consistent. Shallow early deep as soon as the sun sets up the deep bite. My deep fish generally bite better when the sun gets overhead. Pushes them tighter to the bottom in my opinion. Pattern lasts all summer here. March thru November I'd say 😊

I didn't make it to Florida this winter because my dog had surgery and couldn't handle the car ride. I really missed not going. That sun overhead sure has helped me over the years too. Totally agree with you.

Thanks! I'm anxious to get out on the water today. I'm thinking deep bite based on the heat we've got going on right now, but I'll probably stay out until dark and throw a buzzbait around.

Started shallow on Saturday fishing darker weed patches. Our grass hasn’t reached the surface yet. Didn’t get a bite until we started fishing those patches on the edge of deeper (12-16) feet of water. Wasted about an hour before figuring it out. I needed this video Friday Steve 😃. Also the wind died for a bit and I got no bites for 30 minutes. Wind came back and they turned on again. 17 largemouth and 1 smallmouth in 3-1/2 hours. Love your vids.

Isn't amazing how that wind helps out. That is an excellent 3-1/2 hours! I'm hopefully heading to Norther MN in a couple of weeks to go after some big smallies. Can't wait!

If there is really nice cover, like a thick pad field, those summer bass can be in less than 2ft of water. Especially if the cover is sitting next to deeper water access.
