My school pre renovation had those same notification devices, but they had the original simplex chevrons from the 60s when the building was built. All remnants of the original system were trashed during renovations.
It would honestly be so awesome if some buildings would allow people to use there fire alarms in it especially the 2903 an 4903 light plates with mechanical horns it be awesome
4:18 I also feel that same way about the Simplex 4002, 4004 and 4005 (If you know what you're doing) along with the Fire Lite MS-10UD-7 and MS-5UD-7 and most Notifier conventional panels as well like the one you have
This can easily be turned into a voice evac system! The speaker you used as the ceiling mount carbon monoxide speaker can be placed behind all those 2903-9001 and on the 2903-9101
I always find light plates cool because it lights the lettering like they are saying "FIRE! FIRE! FIRE! FIRE!" Something that strobes cant really do. (Ive made this comment 3 times on light plate vids i cant get over it lol)
Wow what a conesedence, I was just watching 4050-80 doing Simplex, and I saw you doing Simplex apparently. I don't know for sure but I feel like the True alerts are the newer horns? I think I'm right about that most likely. Anyways cool system test!
Agreed, I usually prefer continuous since the harmony between all them going at once is just beautiful, I do enjoy 9219s/the Gentex mechanical mechanisms being on T3 however
About time! I love that pitch of the horn in the museum room, sounds just like my 9806.
Okay I’m calling it now, this is the best System Test you’ve done yet! Would love to see a system with all MASS devices
I don’t know what it is with these old mechanical horns and lights, I just love them so much
Same😊
Probably my second favorite after the system you did with Faraday 6120s. Awesome!
Just yesterday I was thinking about “What if FireAlarmDude did a 2903 System?”
same
I want to see a Simplex TrueAlert system!
It's been a little over a year since he's done that!
I got those exact same horns for Christmas!
Best test yet!
This is SICK! Old devices were a fantastic choice.
6:21 reminds me of frosted strobe's system with his homemade panel making the lights have audible silence
Exactly what I was thinking

LETS GO!! The 2903 Light Plates are one of my Favorite Fire Alarms as this is what my Elementary School had they had 2901 9838s on continuous
My favorite test so far
I got worried for a second when you showed that 4251-30 with the original glass 😂
Ooh nice I like these!
These alarms are basically for a dance party fire drill lol!
Yes!!!!! This is the best!!!! I love Simplex
cool nice and basement fire systems
I like the lights! They also show better on camera.
I love the deep low pitch sound of those alarms 👍❤️😎💯
Old alarms sound great!
That last one was so crazy 😅
9:39 OMG that harmony 😩
Man! its been years! :D
First and I love simplex devices and this video is something that I’m addicted to
Hey, This Remind's Me Of System Test 26 By NewAgeServerAlarm
These are my childhood along with the faraday fos 6120
It would honestly be so awesome if some buildings would allow people to use there fire alarms in it especially the 2903 an 4903 light plates with mechanical horns it be awesome
one of my fav alarms in action
those speakers for the co system sound so good.
Hell yeah! 2903s my beloved!
4:18 I also feel that same way about the Simplex 4002, 4004 and 4005 (If you know what you're doing) along with the Fire Lite MS-10UD-7 and MS-5UD-7 and most Notifier conventional panels as well like the one you have
best system you have done yet, suggestion do a system w/ 6 or 10 inch bells
13:04 just stumbled across this video. At that time stamp, that’s what my middle/high school fire alarms sounded like.
This can easily be turned into a voice evac system! The speaker you used as the ceiling mount carbon monoxide speaker can be placed behind all those 2903-9001 and on the 2903-9101
There’s one of those speakers
Definitely my favorite system.
YAY!!!, MY FAVORITE FIRE ALARMS!!!❤❤😍😍😍😍😍
Simplex 2903 light plates!!!❤❤😍😍
Nice. On a future system test could you do one with your wheelock as
This was around the time where simplex was in its prime, even with all the cool high end stuff they put out today.
Interesting take
These are very neat!
Yay Simplex 2903s
do a fire alarm test where u put fire alarm all around the house if you are able to
nice cool
There my favorite 2903
4:57 has that stained glass light always been there, i have never seen it
I put it up recently
The one in the garage sounds like a alarm clock
7:05 Sounds like the Fire Alarms in Tudbury/Evans Way at Wentworth in Boston
12:32 - Minion Ahh Moment 💀
After the system system sensor spectre alert, advance, horn strobes
I always find light plates cool because it lights the lettering like they are saying "FIRE! FIRE! FIRE! FIRE!"
Something that strobes cant really do.
(Ive made this comment 3 times on light plate vids i cant get over it lol)
do a mixed fire alarm system test
forany month system test, can you do system sensor advance horn strobes if you have enough
Wow what a conesedence, I was just watching 4050-80 doing Simplex, and I saw you doing Simplex apparently. I don't know for sure but I feel like the True alerts are the newer horns? I think I'm right about that most likely. Anyways cool system test!
Do that also with mechanical chimes
Nice
11:02🔥🔥
Can you do l-series and classic's
12:07 mine shuts fine without the glass
I have one question what would you recommend as a first fire alarm?
I don't know why everyone is all for March Time on these vintage Simplex electromechanical horns. I'm all for Temporal or Continuous on them.
Agreed, I usually prefer continuous since the harmony between all them going at once is just beautiful, I do enjoy 9219s/the Gentex mechanical mechanisms being on T3 however
15:07 - Oh Dangggg that scared me ngl
Yay 2903s
This is awesome!! Just out of curiosity, do you have any 4050/4040 horns that you plan on using in a system test at some point? I'd love to see those!
I don’t
@ Aw that stinks
YESSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@firealarmdude5967 I have a suggestion. What if you install a Wheelock As and then one of the light plates (with of course a mechanical horn)
This system has been replaced
@FireAlarmDude5967 ok
i got a simplex 2903 today
Would it be possible for u to one day do Wheelock MB 6 inch bells?
Maybe if I get enough
Do continuous as a finale
15:49 2903 voice crack 💀
Can you do a rare test?
Watch this video
Best ever
Pls put a Simplex 4050 horn with the 2903 plate
This system has been replaced
The MTs outside are behaving like 4903s
When were the 2903-9001s released??? I'm curious.
I’m not entirely sure
80s
fr tho, has your house ever caught fire?
Not yet and hopefully never
13:12 it’s same system test 4 stage th-cam.com/video/_n3ZKZDz5bw/w-d-xo.htmlsi=tfapuu6-kvfs0dWH
The one in the garage sounds like crap
No jammin to a Simplex fire alarm? 🫤
