Gustavus Adolphus, he only ruled for about 20 years but during those 20 years (1611 to 1632) he turned Sweden from just some country into the global superpower, increasing the size of Sweden considerably and making Sweden the strongest military power in the world.
Not only was Gustav II Adolf a great warrior but he was smart enough to put Axel Oxenstierna to govern Sweden when he was away fighting.

Sweden was never a GLOBAL super power. Never did the swedish military forces venture outside northern europe for any campaigns. Neither was Sweden ever the strongest military power in the world. The best diciplined army for 100 years is probably true, but the strength was never in numbers, but in tactics, strategy and dicipline. This combined with a religious zeal to die in battle for imagined God appointed kings of a royal family, led to an unsustainable power grip for a limited amount of time.
@@pettalala9595 Sabaton literally has an entire album about the King who did a massive conquest across Europe including fighting off many other nations at once. At one period in history the Caroleans were considered the strongest European military force and were only stopped by the same country who halts everyone's conquests, Russia.
Sabaton have a history channel where they go in depth about the history and a little about the song itself i recommend you react to it

Been a Sabaton fan for almost 20 years, I finally managed to see them live last year here in Hamburg... They simply are the nicest guys out there.. they interact with anyone, always try to give the best performance they can while still having fun together and being close like a family. Keep going with the great reactions about my favourite guys from Sweden, I really like what you are doing :) As others already mentioned, their history channel here on youtube is awesome and worth checking out and reacting to it, too.. so many interesting stories to explore there... an underrated favourite of mine with an interesting story would be "Hearts of Iron" .. greetings from Germany!

I loved the intro. “I’m Lulu…. And they’re not here.” 🙌🙌🙌Side note Sabaton is awesome. They have so many songs that I love. One of the more recent is called 1916. Even if you guys don’t film it; if you guys have a chance go on Sabaton’s TH-cam channel and watch their Vlogs, especially the ones from their recent US tour. You get to see a different side of the band it’s amazing.
