WEAR TEST: I did not really have an issue with flaking throughout the day, however this was SUCH a mess when I washed it off, that it made me not enjoy it after all! It turned into so many tiny pieces that were hard to get off and were all over my face!

I’ve been using this for yearssssss I love it and it’s super easy to remove
The directions say that you don't have to wait but you DO! Apply a THIN coat of the primer. You may even have to scrape off the excess at the opening if it's a new tube. Wait about 30-60 seconds. It will be slightly tacky. Then go in with the actual black mascara. If you don't wait for it to dry some, you really won't get any affect. It's a fussy mascara but once you figure it out, it's AMAZING! If you're looking for more volume, do TWO THIN coats of the primer. Just make sure you let them dry a little in between each coat. Don't let the primer dry too long, though. If you do, it's hard to get the black mascara to stick.
Also, don't do what I have done a few times. 🫠 While I've been in a hurry I have slapped on the white primer and done my brows while waiting for the primer to get tacky. Then I've completely forgotten to go back with the black mascara and have walked around for a few hours with WHITE LASHES! 🤣🤣🤣🤦🏻♀️🫣

Tip for removing….
I purchased a bottle of eye rinse (for when you have something in your eye) and it comes with a little eye cup. I fill that little eye cup with warm water, cup around eye, tilt head back or forward (whatever works best for you), blink a few times and hold for 20-30 seconds (or longer if need be). Then take your index finger and thumb and lightly pinch lashes and lightly pull away from eye. Easy peasy removal!

I think it looked really pretty. And with it being dual-sided, it was almost like a mini mascara and mini primer which isn't necessarily a bad thing since we're supposed to change it out every 3 to 6 months.
And I saw your review of taking it off and that's exactly what a tubing mascara is. It's just like a little spider legs down your face. It is a little bit of a pain in the butt to get them all off, but the good part is it comes off with just water, and you don't get raccoon eyes.
Exactly! I will keep eyeshadow palettes, blushes, etc WAY past their expiration dates. However I'm obsessive about throwing out my mascara after 3 months. Years ago I got a NASTY case of Blepharitis and it took weeks to clear up. My ophthalmologist said it was definitely from using too old mascara. Another thing I stopped doing is "pumping" the wand when getting ready to put mascara on. That same ophthalmologist and a medical esthetician said that when you pump the wand, it can shove air and bacteria into your tube and then of course spread to your eyes. 👀
@deniece0821 Yes about the pumping of the wand! Another fact is when pumping the air that shoved in there also creates clumping. I was told to twist the wand not pump.
Also fun fact: Don’t pump your nail polish either, creates clumping and makes it tacky. And never shake the bottle just rub it between your palms as if you were warming your hands up👏🏻

Does anyone know if there is any other mascara which has the same formula ?
This has been discontinued in England and Germany, maybe in Europe. So annoying, the best mascara ever, I have been using it for years and now I was able to get some from Amazon UK but at an increased price and interestingly it is the same one you have which is smaller than the usual one that was available.
It sounds very similar to the Thrive mascara!
