Re. placement of subwoofer. A big cumbersome thing; if I was to stick it behind/at side of an armchair or sofa, will it have any detrimental effect on the sound?

1. everytime i open my tv. the sound bar also automatic turn on.i using HDMI. Same as off turn off the tv. They turn off also?

Hi,
My HW-Q930B ( 5 months old) is bricked it its stuck, the display goes on but you cant change the source or the volume thing is totally unusable , today i brought it back to the store they will send it RMA to Samsung hope to get it back soon.

A little word of advice. If your going to review a sound bar, especially one from a big name brand, don't mention things like "oh this comes in a box with Styrofoam, it's not good for the environment". Just stick to the sound bar. Not everyone cares what you think about the box, and the Styrofoam does help keep the product from being damaged and it can be re-used for other purposes.

Hi Twin! Thanks for the feedback. Different parts of the world have different sensibilities. As such my comment was directed at those that have contacted me asking me not to buy/review products and brands that use plastics and foam in their packaging. It is very difficult at times to know what companies use without buying the product.

Totally disagree Twin, sustainability is a concern to many consumers. I for one was impressed at Bob for calling Samsung out on their packaging when many recyclable/compostable alternatives exist. Great video CTOBob.
