It’s a pretty standard thing to do, at least in the UK. If you ask for a cup of tea here it will be a ‘normal’ black tea served with milk unless it’s a specialty tea, like green tea or a fruit tea or similar.
Just recorded another session and have encountered that same player again. Secret Weapons again, but they have added traps all around the phones. So no AI to help you locate them and you can't get to the phones either. I quit after the first trap caught me. I then instantly matched the same player, but on Rubble and Ruin, so they have multiple maps cleared ready to load and already set up to catch invaders out. After that I blocked them. First time and only time I've ever done it.
@duckwit85 I wonder if this is the same person I encountered. I played someone who had done the same thing. I left the match and then matched against them on another map.

@@juliomeneses1793 Regardless of how I've presented matches in previous videos, I have no intention of shaming anyone, so I'd want nothing to do with that. That's why I've begun to redact names. I'm also changing my approach to remove controversial situations from my invasion videos. Its causing too much toxicity. I've only ever blocked one person, and I hated that I had to do that just to stop the endless matchmaking with them (it happened 5 times in a row). There really should be some matchmaking filters that can be applied so we can play our way, and leave those players to play their way. I genuinely think most of this could be resolved if there were a way of filtering invasions by a percentage of enemies cleared. Otherwise, I'm just going to deal with the fact that people can play that way, and do what I always do and surrender as soon as I feel I'm in a match I don't want. Creating public blacklists is absolutely not the way to do it.
@@duckwit85 I've blocked quite a few for various reasons, but if we can't track them a little bit, it's a huge disadvantage for the invader. They can use the phone once and hunt you. Not cool.
Keep up the great work and you do have a funny evil laugh you have when you down the allies.... you make my day feel warm hearted plus I have dedicated myself to get 10 or 20 kills per day so I don't get nervous downing other players.
I’d say that the evil laugh is 50% mischief and 50% relief that I didn’t die. I still get nervous sometimes going up against players. As with anything in life, experience is key to feeling comfortable, so keep it up!
I had the same doubts at one point, but when I tested it my enemies never seemed to notice me aiming at them. One viewer also confirmed that there's no glint without a scope (which sounds obvious, but as you said the mechanics are wild sometimes) so I believe that's the case.
In terms of playing against you, you can just leave the suggestion on the community tab, like "Hi, I will be playing as Karl, so if you want to invade me try a lot of times until my name comes up or something" 😂 Just hint, you might get a viewer, or you may not 🤔
Awesome videos Sir, I have watched all of the invasions and have learned a lot, thanks for creating them. I have a question regarding your loadout items. At 1:56 in this video I see you have two slots for grenades. I only have one slot for grenades and cannot edit or change this. I am on PS5 console and you are on PC. What is the difference, why can I not change my items? I get what the game gives me. I can only edit my weapons loadout. Bug or limitation of the game? Noob questions I'm afraid.
Thanks! There should be an option to replace the default teller mine with a second grenade. A viewer commented on a previous video that if you go into the shooting range with your invader loadout you can change it from there. Another viewer commented that it only seems to actually change if you do it that way, and that the main menu loadout screen doesn’t work, which is probably a bug. I pretty sure I did it from the shooting range, so had no issue changing it.
I think they borrowed the focus ability from the Hitman series. With the addition of silencers for almost all of the weapons, it feels like they took a lot of inspiration from Hitman. That was my impression when I played the game at release, anyway!

I wish they’d add a hardcore playlist for the multiplayer for the play who don’t really like the addition of focus mode to multiplayer (include the sound appearing on minimap). Sniper elite, for me at least, has always been about thinking and using your own senses. Which on authentic is most certainly achieved but any difficulty before authentic gives the allied play a lot to help them, which is to balance it which I understand but the red directional ring that appears when using focus mode is a little too much. I usually play authentic anyway. In short what I’m trying to say it that SE5 has sort of cut down on having to use your own senses and thinking (in terms of multiplayer). In terms of invasion, it’s a brilliant game mode and such a great to be added to the series but has a few things that could still be tweaked to make it as balanced as possible

And some of them have some kind of aim assist, no one is that accurate every time. All these mods make me not want to play anymore.
There are definitely people who cheat, although I don’t think I’ve encountered one in several months. That said, I haven’t suspected anyone of cheating since my last encounter with an invulnerable player. I’ve been defeated, caught out, and even located easily by a few players, and I’ve done it many times myself to many other players. I’ve seen behaviour that could seem like cheating but was actually just classic symptoms of network lag. So yeah, I’m not disagreeing that they exist, but I don’t think I’ve seen any of them in the last 6 months. It is possible I just got lucky with matchmaking, of course!

Ok, I know Germany and Japan had something like an alliance in WW2 but was the usage of their flag intentional for this game or an accident because I swear looking at these, I see the Japanese flag and it just feels out of place because of the garrison being Germans.
You can't (any more)! The invader used to have a full loadout, but it was changed by the developers shortly after release as too many invaders were winning. It's a shame, as I've discovered a couple of locations recently that Karl can shoot you from using AP rounds that the invader cannot hit due to having regular ammo. I now hold the opinion that AP ammo is the most important thing that should be made available to invaders.
Because it’s not a multiplayer match. Reaction time and speed are not as important in invasions but a one shot hit is! I wouldn’t use this thing if I were playing a multiplayer game mode where reaction time and speed is key. Edit: I mostly use the Mosin-Nagant for invasions now anyway. As far as the Kar98 goes, I don’t think I ever really lost any invasions due to how unwieldy it is, I just learned to deal with it. I only ever lost because my opponent played better!

My French teacher was indeed French, however that was 22 years ago and I've not spoken much of it since, so my French is... not good! 😂

If you put armor peircing rounds as the secondary ammo it can go through the concrete walls

Do rifles with no scope show glint in Axis invasion? Just wondering because the glint mechanics are wild sometimes lol

You should keep bullet camera on all he time.
I turn the quick cams on for the campaign playthroughs, else they would be 3 hours long, but absolutely will keep them off for invasions.
