Sometimes, I feel Penn and Teller are not that bright. It was very very easy to guess because it was so simple. There was a knife or blade attached to the lid of the box. All strings are attached. When she pulls them out, she cuts and pulls. When she opens the lid, she very carefully hides the inner side of it. Places the blade down. As simple as that. No magnet or anything.

We solved it: She uses magnets at the end of the small strings that get pulled through a tube an when she cuts the string around their finger she pulls it long enough to remove the magnetic gimmick string Case solved
