I just noticed that the normal golden accents on the Master Sword's sheath are a dull yellow color instead of the vibrant gold color it normally sports. This changes when it becomes the True Master Sword.
It also doesn’t have the triforce on it.
To me it's more of a gray, or metalic white.

Wisdom - Expanded Fi's abilities
Power - Sacred white light that demons revile
Sacred Power - Awakened the sword and gave it the mark of the Triforce. Also tied it to Link since he possesses the sacred power itself according to Zelda.

Because the Iron Shield conducts electricity, making you take more damage from that element.

@@Tunic_ Yeah, the Iron Shield isn't meant to be used in Lanayru unless you want the extra challenge. Otherwise you're better off using the Wooden and Sacred Shields instead (the Hylian Shield works as well too, but that's an endgame item).
@@darkstorm2579 to me it just felt normal I didn't notice anything different other than the electric bokoblins which were annoying but I just used my slingshot to stun them so it wasn't bad either, in fact right now I'm in the triforce dungeon and I'm still using the iron shield

Post WW Link every Link got more expressive in its own way, showing more personality than just an empty slate for the player, this smaller signs of personality reacting the same way the player does in this situation makes Link a much better character to relate with trough the adventure

@@dhans9662 True, but as an instant charge you can span that attack until there is not a single enemy left, I used that during the Horde, and against the last battle against Ghirahim
@@dustinakadustin The Skyward Strike on the True Master Sword according to the Damage Values still has the damage Output of the Goddess Longsword, the Skyward Strike was always as strong as the sword, but then it stopped growing when it turned into the Master Sword
I'm really hoping they do a game that displays the events that lead to the human race having to live on Skyloft in the first place. A "Legend of Hylia" game perhaps, in which Hylia's original chosen hero has to help her protect the human race from Demise.

Looking at the thumbnail, canonically, that means in the wind waker when Link found the Master Sword it was about 80% at full restoration
I remember when i first played this game on the wii, I was amazed that the goddess sword turned into the master sword, even thought i somewhat guessed it too. Now that i've played the HD version, looking back on how it evolves, the change from the goddess white sword to the master sword is pretty drastic, and while that definitely helped with the "wow" factor of it turning into the master sword, i think i would have preffered it had been a smoother transition, like if the Goddess white sword had the exact shape of the master sword but with the white/green coloration, thus making the transition from the white sword to the master sword, just be a matter of the coloration. Maybe that's just me being nit-picky, but i loved it either way.
It would be cool but I think they wanted the shock value to kick in full affect. The Master Sword is one of the most iconic weapons in gaming history, people only think that it can be found on a pedestal, no origin story to speak of, so seeing the shape of the master sword appear suddenly is insane and memorable the first time, and it leaves that imprint of a memory forever.

Courage doesn't mean you aren't scared, just dont let it hold you back. Take courage the cowardly dog for example. Afraid of his own shadow yet he constantly risks his life for who he loves, courage and link are not far from eachother specially given he has certain fears in specific games.

I swear this game is underrated from a gameplay and game design perspective it’s not even funny.
Like legit the combat, dungeon design, puzzles, bosses, item use is one of the best from a metroidvania perspective.

I mean, the silent realms were stressful and thrilling at times, but I never found myself losing more than once on each silent realm. Maybe it’s because I had already known them? Yeah, it’s probably that reason.
@@noone6991 as a kid I struggled a lot with them, playing it again now as an adult I didn't die once during the game though there were some challenging bits. Silent Realms were great.

The Goddess Flames are rather gorgeous. Boron, Indium, Strontium, right? Also, note that Hylia being the "White Goddess" when three Golden Goddesses are RGB makes reference to additive color theory. Makes me wonder if Zelda gets enough magnesium in her diet.

I just finished Tears of Kingdom and I'm marathoning the stories of previous games. it's very interesting how the master sword took its final form
It's inpressive the fact that the sword *made* to seal the darkness gets destroyed by the darkness (ganon's malice) in totk
I think in botw 2 will show sky loft just thousands of years old, and that the arm of the hero isn’t this links arm but the arm of the very first hero who defeated demise, and that every iteration of Ganon is demise transforming into his original form breaking the curse. Ending with the goddesses return essentially the Zelda series becomes a never ending cycle from the last game to the very first. It would be cool to see the very start of Zelda with the goddesses creating Hyrule with Hylia receiving the triforce, and the first hero aka link fighting a world war against demise.
Well Skyloft is just Central Hyrule, so you can already so what “Skyloft” looks like in BotW
But skyloft returned back to the surface at the end of skyward sword so skyloft isn't in the sky any more and also it's a sequel to botw not skyward sword or anything else even though it may have some lore it's not the sequel to other games other than botw. Well, technically they are all sequels to SS but I mean that botw 2 is a sequel with the same Zelda and Link from botw though Zelda got a short cut for some reason and Link decided it was better to let down his hair rather than keep it in a ponytail.

@@Gafafsg Link in Skyward Sword is the Goddess' Chosen Hero of Legend. Because he travels in time and kills demise, thus the legend exists thousand of years later. Everyone in the game calls Link the Goddess'Chosen Hero, even Demise. There isn't another Link before him. The manga isn't canon.

The Master Sword from Zelda, is like the Vampire Killer Whip of Castlevania, as the origin from both weapons implied that they used to have a more weaker forms, Goddess Sword and Alchemy Whip, making that was required that Link and Leon had to do somethings to upgrades the weapons, to that they eventually become the actual versions of the Master Sword and the Vampire Killer.
But the Master Sword is Infinitely stronger since it Compels all Evil

I think there's a solid chance of that happening since Eiji directly says that what we saw was a world above the hyrule kingdom, at the very least, i would expect an old skyloft with a lot of details showing how much time has passed.

something I find funny is that Link always starts off holding the sword with one hand before being like: "Nope this isn't gonna work." before uses both his hands, which for the first flame makes sense but while getting the other two flames he still tries to do it one handed because he hopes he'll be stroke enough 😂
also I kinda wish we got to see Link set the sword on the ground during the forging process and watch it bounce around

Watching this I just have a greater appreciation for the way wind waker handled the master sword.

In case you didn't get what I was referring to, the Hero of Winds from Wind Waker is unusual in that he's not actually a chosen one and had no set destiny by the gods. He went on his quest entirely to save his sister and that just happened to lead him toward drawing the Master Sword. Had she been at full power at that time, he would not have been able to wield it. He was only able to because she was too weak to stop him. It's only because of the effort he put in to manually reassembling the Triforce of Courage and bringing the Master Sword back to full power that the gods begrudgingly accept him as a new hero.

The King of Red Lions saying that Link is of no relation to the Hero holds absolutely no water since he's just a human ghost not anyone who can actually confirm or deny this.
@@hallowvenixya9215 Nah it’s made more than clear that the hero of winds is just a normal kid and not the goddesses chosen hero.
It would also be impossible for him to be the goddesses chosen hero reborn as the hero of time not only didn’t die to ganon in the adult timeline but his Spirit could not be reborn when he does die from old age or whatever in that timeline due to him being sent back to his own as a child.

I feel like there was a sword design that was cut for the “White Sword.”
You can see how the Goddess Sword naturally grows into the Longsword, and the Master Sword opening up into the True Master Sword is just inspired, but the middle step of just getting paler makes me thing they had an intermediate planned which would bridge the gap, but it got cut for some reason.
I know this is about the Master Sword, but that scene with Link and Zelda was sad. 😢
Im gonna say it, and i dont care what you all think. Skyward Sword is still a timeless classic.
I am absolutely positive that Skyward Sword would have replace Ocarina of Time as the best in the series, if they had stuck with normal controls instead of motion controls. So many times I would try to stab a monster and Link would instead slash, all because my hand was slightly off center.

Can someone tell me if the triforce can restore power to the master sword. I know the 2 are connected from the powers so I was just curious how it works. It would be cool if the triforce could convert the goddess sword.
I guess theoretically, but usually there are other ways that the Master Sword gets powered/repowered in those events
@@mreverything7056 I see how they did it in skyward sword, but what else would power/repower the master sword? The should of made dungeons in order to retrieve the triforce pieces at the end. I still like the concept of what it took to change the goddess sword into the master sword twords the end.

What I noticed about the Master Sword, is that the cross guard looks like it's getting bigger wings that fold in with each upgrade, fully spreading out once the Master Sword reaches its true form.
The cross guard of the True Master Sword was designed to be in the shape of a Loftwing when the blade is upside down. The yellow gem is the beak and the two golden sides by the hilt represent talons of the Loftwing.

My only complaint about the 3D Zelda games is that as soon as you obtain the master sword, there are hardly many enemies to fight. As soon as Zelda blesses the sword in SS, immediately you just want to wreck shit with it but as I said there aren’t many enemies to use it on.

I feel it should have been upgraded right to the true master sword with the 3rd flame. I mean you get 1 boss fight right after you get the 3rd flame upgrade and thats it before its upgraded again
In my opinion, it should’ve been upgraded after Link completes the Song Of The Hero, although the Skyward Sword Randomizer may allow Link to have the pre-awakened Master Sword for longer depending on the seed.

The master sword is not the same, do not take Zelda's lore seriously since most likely all Zeldas, not counting the sequels, are separate universes with similar past events.
Zelda's lore always contradicts itself and resets itself. If Totk's sword is the same as Skyward Sword's, it is because millions of years have passed and it is obvious that it will be weaker. but tell me? The Master Sword defeated Demise, who was much more powerful than Ganondorf. Do you think that the master sword at its maximum power (ss) could not against Demon King Ganondorf, who is much weaker than Demise?
