She buys grocery without bringing her phone and the shop owners just trust her completely. What a great community
there is a small town which everyone know each other, hence the seller doesn't afraid of being cheated
This happens with me, too, in India because I'm a regular at some of the shops.

Yes! I grew up their way. I miss and appreciate those years. Made me the person I am today. Just goes to show that even though we're in different countries, good manners, trust, love and care are wonderful virtues to have.

Why do I think Rose has adapted well to the Chinese life, including the food, weather and communal living because she's African and Africa is a collective culture just like China. I truly admire her.

Now I realise why villagers in China spoke quite loudly-- because they have to talk to each other from a distance inorder to be heard😄😄😄 Rose likes to call out to her hubby in his full name including surname, its not in a rude way but with a tint of camaraderie, like he is a good buddy.

I want to make dumplings now. It seems more tedious and time consuming than the egg rolls I have made. But it looks worthwhile to try at least once. I think it might be a good match for carrot soup.
The same effort, just different way of rolling it...I love dumplings better since I can eat it in different ways...fried them or put them inside of noodles soup ... yummy

... I saw you in other video saving potatoes in a cave... in my original country people save like 50kg potatoes per bag like 9-12bags potatoes 2bags carrots, 4 bags beetroot in a downcellars that they dig pit in the ground like 3metres deep 10-12squares metres and cement sides of pit with bricks & put roof on top, doors, ladder to get in & out and keep soil on ground floor for humidity and that way vegetables stay 8-9months fresh. Carrots we dig in boxes with sand & dry lime powder. Potatoes need to separate from rotten ones twice a year...

do they always run a tab for the foods that they buy?
