I like how everyone is so helpful. The lady at the mail shop helped Rose with the large package. The friend she saw on her way from the mail shop gave her lemongrass. Her husband's brother helped make the sauce for the meal. Her husband always helps. So wholesome.
It is a collectivist culture.
The U.S.and Europe are individualistic cultures.

Believe when I say this. People dont want to talk to neighbors anymore. We spent our time being there for family, friends and neighbors with no response. We give them holiday cards, gifts- no response. People in 🇺🇸-- not all I'm sure, but those who surround us have become or are ruthless.
Again.... it would be nice to have a reciprocating family, friend or neighbor like her ( our TH-cam opinion)

I am AFRICAN born and bred, Chinese dating back decades and centuries have always been friends with African born and bred irrespective of race colour or creed. Chinese as most of us AFRICAN that are born and bred in AFRICA have always been part of AFRICAN culture because of its similarities. Rose and her husband are a pair not to be imitated they bring the best out of each other, culture plays a big role. Rose is a natural beauty and nothing to be added, she is stunning the way she is, I admire her as a black woman because many times when you see black women on social media, they over exaggerate their appearance, disrespectful on social media, dancing with these white men, it appears that’s all these men use them for. They could learn alot from ROSE, she has such respect for herself, her husband, child, family and friends. Rose set the bar very high for black women how to behave publicly, especially black AMERICAN women.

I just love how they accepted Rose as if she is one of them. You can see they genuinely love her.
Language barrier is mostly what cause resentment sometimes . If Rose wasn't fluent in their Language, probably she would have been treated differently
I guess Rose also is an open hearted person. She never does anything grudgingly 😊he loves her husband's family without prejudice. She generally has a Good heart and a good spirit. Never changing woman. She is a blessing to this people.

I heard of an incident in Kenya where a Chinese restaurant had banned Africans from patronising the same. Some seem to have a sort of sub-European superiority complex.

Love how Rose handling that motor cycle. Like a pro. Such a genuine show of unconditional real love among them. Can't stop watching them. Rose and her family and her community cancels out the stories of hate. There is still so much love in this world of ours
For the rice, I usually stir fry the lemongrass with garlic, ginger and shallots till they are fragrant, then stir in the raw rice, top up with chicken stock and cook in the rice cooker. The stir fried ingredients will make the rice very fragrant and appetising.

I love everything your channel represents - you truly are an ambassador and so it's everyone in your community. I've realised in all my travels that at our core there are only minor differences between us all no matter where we come from...
