Tbf I do feel like it would be a shame to paint it the same colour's as the R500.. I do love the paint job on the 650. Maybe work with the paint job and incorporate some of the TT style in it ??
Yep, bro has lost his mind stripping that to repaint it white and blue. Just get some feckin decals if you want bits of it white. There's like 1000 different companies across the country that specialise in this field and will produce tons of different designs for you to choose from, or just design your own on your PC and take it to them to do. Would cost only a fraction of the price to strip down all the bodywork and remove all the trim and everything bolted to the chassis so it can be repainted. He'll be paying thousands and thousands in man hours. The white and blue on the other one is getting old and boring anyway, needs a change. Every man and his dog does white and blue, and puts those double arrow decals things on the doors or side of the roof above the doors. Do something original. Oh and get rid of all those other scrapper projects and send Bengineer home. You'll never finish them and you're just wasting money.
Hi Tim the reason I sent a reply too you about opening it up is because if you look a the long shot it is to close and if you was to put a load on it there would be to much over the unit, and with the VOSA looking over your shoulder you have to be careful.
Hey Trucker Tim I can't wait too see Scania R Series interior all finished and I would keep that colour off blue just add white pin stripes on it and I hope that you will have the Scania Four Series finished and on the road soon and get well soon Trucker Tim.
i can only feel that this is a "Look Mr DVSA, Lombardos is a legit truck inspection workshop which always does proper legal and safe truck inspections" video
Good night trucker tim and everyone i love watching your videos of you and your adventures in your new truck and others I hope you are all well and enjoying your adventures in your new truck I love watching Ben building up your other trucks please keep your videos going on your you tube channel please keep safe and warm please get well tim
Nice truck Tim....the very best of good health to enjoy it.....when you said you were going to load the tipping trailer i thought you would load it properly....you only put 28 ton in the trailer......i pulled a tipping trailer like that one and loaded grain, like wheat or barley. 33 ton in the trailer back in the mid 80's grossing 47.5 ton. The unit was an old volvo F7 with 240 horsepower and 16 speed gearbox.....needless to say i never went anywhere to quickly lol but a great truck for the BIG pay load....Thanks Tim for sharing the new truck with us and good luch with it....cheers
Shawn was correct- Scania again :( And about adaptive cruise- DAF have it from 2017 if Iam not wrong plus topographic cruise control, lane assist, seats with cooling plus heat, bigger bed and quieter cab
Love it Tim.I’ve missed Shaun’s humour. New truck is going to sound great with the stacks on. She going to look great in your colour , and keep the V8 signs on cab, but in blue.
Personally i would leave the s series alone for the time being do some long runs and some trucking while doing the v8 build and the r series. Id leave the pto/hydraulic on it as it would make good content in the future plus the s series is absolutely stunning as is but interested in whete this goes 👌
Shaun, i don't think Scania uses EGR anymore nowadays, the last EGR + VGT turbo engine from Scania was the 730 V8. All other 6 cylinder and V8 are SCR only + FGT turbo engine. As for Tim intention to change the S650's color, well as long he can figure it out and adjust the livery for the next gen Scania, i think it's gonna be good. It's not gonna be good if it's a straight copy with no adjustment from the R series
Tim, how about you pick up a four axle tipper and convert it into a T cab, not seen one before and would look pretty sharp with twin axle front steering 😮
Looking at the amount of money that owners are spending on flash paint jobs and sound systems on their lorries, I was always under the impression that there wasn't a lot of money in haulage with the cost of fuel insurance and repairs .
Hi Tim. It's me again from South Africa. Just a suggestion, but why don't you do the inverse paint job for the s series compared to the r series. I think it will compliment the trailer better as well and it suits the truck
All vehicles must be fitted with a noise cancelling system when a strange noise occurs turn the system up until the sound goes away. My favourite are 80s and 90s music but if the offending noise persists anything on radio 1 will cancel anything out even the devil farting.
I think you should keep you other scania just for shows and this new 650 do a complete new paint job, much more exciting for the channel than just copying the other one.
My thoughts exactly... the show truck is the one for tarting up, the daily drive needs to have your identity on it so it needs your name on it along with the already fitted microwave /coffee machine etc... the show truck needs music louder than what is allowed
Before you repaint it the same as the 4 series, just a thought, there are a helluva lot of companies using a very similar colour scheme. Howzabout going all black with your blue and white additions ?? Personal opinion but that would be reasonably rare and quite stunning.
lol coming from a 52" kenworth bunk lol how you live in that is beyond - may be time to get on a plane and come drive some road trains and see what comfort is
Tim mentions a tag axel which I get being there is a set of wheels behind the main driving wheels, but his R series has a set of wheels in front of the driving wheels. what and why are there different setups of wheels and what are the difference in the two meant for? Great vid as always sir👍Also Tim please don't put a big silly steering wheel on her, the Scania one is just fine.
Keep it blue with the V8 logos, put your name board on etc and add some white accents, opposite to the R, give it its own identity as the daily workhorse
New truck looks amazing, but what's with the inside wall of the front left tyre at 15:06? Looks like it's got a pretty bad gash in it... might want to have a look at that mate, last thing you want is a front blowout!
23:05 - 23:15 And ❤showed you spending the best part of ten seconds when you were not watching the road. Do you not realise it only takes a split second for something to happen.
Tbf I do feel like it would be a shame to paint it the same colour's as the R500.. I do love the paint job on the 650. Maybe work with the paint job and incorporate some of the TT style in it ??
Or he should do what he wants to do with it?
@Djordymans ofc it's up to himself what he does.. but suggestions never hurt 🙂
I agree tbh
@Djordymans its just a suggestion mate it's not that big of a deal. Could have just said that you disagree with it.
Agree
Tim don't paint it, that colour is banging
agree ,leave it as is
Yep, bro has lost his mind stripping that to repaint it white and blue. Just get some feckin decals if you want bits of it white. That fat bird with the red Scania literally copied his decals and still looks naff
That is a nice livery on that unit. Would be a shame to get rid of it! Maybe just change the V8 sticker to put your own stamp on it?
Get well soon, Tim!
"Shawn its me new lorry!!."
I don't care to be honest."
Get well soon Tim please leave it that colour it is beautiful
Love it Tim!
It would be a shame to see the limited edition V8 paint go, but it would still look awesome in your colours!
Get well soon :)
The new truck looks great. I hope you're feeling better soon Tim 😀 🚛
Hi Tim the reason I sent a reply too you about opening it up is because if you look a the long shot it is to close and if you was to put a load on it there would be to much over the unit, and with the VOSA looking over your shoulder you have to be careful.
That's a proper pit with all the moving plates to check bushes/pins etc... proper job
Tim, you should get Norwegian style side skirts. The ones where it saids “V8” on 😊
Hey Trucker Tim I can't wait too see Scania R Series interior all finished and I would keep that colour off blue just add white pin stripes on it and I hope that you will have the Scania Four Series finished and on the road soon and get well soon Trucker Tim.
Hi Tim nice to see your old mate back in the video let's have more with him in your video please
i can only feel that this is a "Look Mr DVSA, Lombardos is a legit truck inspection workshop which always does proper legal and safe truck inspections" video
It is. It was very obvious this was the intention. VOSA won't buy it though and will still watch him like a hawk.
Good night trucker tim and everyone i love watching your videos of you and your adventures in your new truck and others I hope you are all well and enjoying your adventures in your new truck I love watching Ben building up your other trucks please keep your videos going on your you tube channel please keep safe and warm please get well tim
I think you should do the same colours but the other way round where it’s white you do it blue and so on
Look forward to the new paint. Bit I feel like it needs to be a hybrid between its current 50 years V8 and the TT livery.
From Datashredders to multiple trucks. Both R series and S series 🔥🔥
15:48 it's good that this truck got hidden downward exhaust perfect for the stacks
Reckon you caught Dutch flu mate!! Shaun is right, DAF have had adaptive cruise control since at least 2013, even in their basic CF models.
This is very true
Great video Tim! Can't wait to see the interior done
Hope your feeling better soon Tim
Shaun’s comment was brilliant! “You got mange or something” and TT didn’t have a clue what he was on about but we all did 😂
Can’t wait to see the R all finished and the new S in your colours. Going to be mint.
Tim do yourself a favour and keep that truck the colour that it is. It’s beautiful.
Shawn was correct- Scania again :( And about adaptive cruise- DAF have it from 2017 if Iam not wrong plus topographic cruise control, lane assist, seats with cooling plus heat, bigger bed and quieter cab
Your new, truck looks awsome as it is Tim Hopefully see you at a show one day 😊
look how good that trailer looks with the new unit serious tim don't change the colour it looks awesome
And as for the colour I would not charge it be work with what there if done right it will look real good and must likely send out in a lorry park.
I love your new truck Tim! You should do more trucking but on the motorways. That would be great!
That top gun truck looks sick as hell especially the design on the back of the cab
The 650S has a nice blue color, but I agree that it should be painted in the TT color scheme for recognition.
Love it Tim.I’ve missed Shaun’s humour. New truck is going to sound great with the stacks on. She going to look great in your colour , and keep the V8 signs on cab, but in blue.
Shame the chassis and running gear never been painted keep her that colour Tim looks well
Tim’s content is great! Long may it continue. Bring on Malvern Truck show.
Also to avoid wing top contact just air the front up a bit as it changes the pivot point . Or move the 5th back a bit
Can't wait to see your new truck in your colours, towing your r series on your new trailer too a show 👌🏼😍
Tim the time has come again for you to make it to this years full of the pipe in ireland 🥰
Personally i would leave the s series alone for the time being do some long runs and some trucking while doing the v8 build and the r series. Id leave the pto/hydraulic on it as it would make good content in the future plus the s series is absolutely stunning as is but interested in whete this goes 👌
Get well soon Timbo! The S series looks awesome as always and personally I'd keep the blue and have the V8 in white with black edging
What about wrapping the truck...then you can play about with the look....before finally painting it..... Especially as a worker unit...
Tim, your livery with the V8 on the side on the S series I think would look smart, it's a nice wagon thats for sure!
Leave the new truck colours as they are Tim, looks mint! But exhaust stacks, DEFINITELY! open pipes, would sound great. 👍🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Hey Tim, Kenyan here 😊, please join us in rejecting the finance bill 2024
Yeah boi love it when Sean is on the channel he's funny without even trying 😂
What an absolute beauty, lovely Scania S. Just passed my class 2 today, and hopefully I'll be in the big rigs by next year.
23:40 Tim stroking his side pipe was funny especially when he started talking to it 😂
The new scania looks great! Can't wait to see the interior in the R
My daf LF had adaptive cruise control, no lies!
LF 🙈🤢🤮
Shaun, i don't think Scania uses EGR anymore nowadays, the last EGR + VGT turbo engine from Scania was the 730 V8. All other 6 cylinder and V8 are SCR only + FGT turbo engine.

Glad to see Sean back on the channel miss him
Don’t paint it looks awesome with the trailer on
Honestly, i beg of you tim please just keep it the same colour! It's such a nice blue!
Nice to see sean. I thought he was living.
In the truck
Inspection pit.and couldn't get out.lol.😅
Tim, how about you pick up a four axle tipper and convert it into a T cab, not seen one before and would look pretty sharp with twin axle front steering 😮
I think you should paint it in the colors of the R series. If you want a fleet they kinda have to look the same in my opinion :D
First time watching the channel my friends recommend and I love your humour! Might watch more
Color is already banging! just add some stacks and come do some euro work :D gz again on the truck! well deserved tim!
Let's have longer content please 20 odd minutes not long enough great to see sean back
I prefer that blue tbh
New Scannia looks absolutely 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻under the new trailer , be awesome once it’s all in your company colours 🤙🏻🤙🏻🤙🏻🤙🏻🤙🏻🤙🏻
Good stuff Tim! Hope ya feel better soon!
Love the paint scheme will be a shame to change it, glad Shaun is back I ve missed him 😂
Once again perfect timing for Diner, get well soon Tim!
Looking at the amount of money that owners are spending on flash paint jobs and sound systems on their lorries, I was always under the impression that there wasn't a lot of money in haulage with the cost of fuel insurance and repairs .
running drugs and immigrants.
There isn't. They are in it for the glory, not the money. More hobbyist truckers (like Tim) and they don't care about making any profit.
can ve keep both of the big V8 logos please
He is he said that when he was live
i didnt really see that tbh
Hi Tim. It's me again from South Africa. Just a suggestion, but why don't you do the inverse paint job for the s series compared to the r series. I think it will compliment the trailer better as well and it suits the truck
So many colds and coughs going about still. WHERE IS SUMMER! Speedy tang recovery
The colds and coughs are only happening to those who took the clot shots. The "anti-vaxxers" are all still fine.
The R S & future TCab all in the same livery will look the nuts all parked next to each other at the shows. Will need a show stand trailer now too 😂
You should do the colours flipped, so the main colour the M3 blue and the accent white
Great video upload and nice to see shaun back n the channel can't wait for the next upload Happy trucking Tim 😊
Love the new Truck mate. Looks smashing
All vehicles must be fitted with a noise cancelling system when a strange noise occurs turn the system up until the sound goes away. My favourite are 80s and 90s music but if the offending noise persists anything on radio 1 will cancel anything out even the devil farting.
Nice trucker Tim. Hell of a set up you got there
Id adjust that hitch plate so its not so close to those lights
I think you should keep you other scania just for shows and this new 650 do a complete new paint job, much more exciting for the channel than just copying the other one.
The 650 v8 if I was you I would leave the inside the same as it is NO BIG STEERING WHEEL you have a show truck.
My thoughts exactly... the show truck is the one for tarting up, the daily drive needs to have your identity on it so it needs your name on it along with the already fitted microwave /coffee machine etc... the show truck needs music louder than what is allowed
A very smart set up the new 660s with the stepframe 😎👍
You should make like a mini of your trucks as a diecast for small kids to tesco and like that
New truck colour is brilliant don't change it
Before you repaint it the same as the 4 series, just a thought, there are a helluva lot of companies using a very similar colour scheme.
Howzabout going all black with your blue and white additions ?? Personal opinion but that would be reasonably rare and quite stunning.
Great vid tim nice to see shaun too
Shaun’s been busy since falling in the water filled pit 😂 he always makes me laugh “ my daf’s got that” 😂
And he’s not wrong…DAF have many those options in basic price which you have to pay for Scania as option
lol coming from a 52" kenworth bunk lol how you live in that is beyond - may be time to get on a plane and come drive some road trains and see what comfort is
Tim mentions a tag axel which I get being there is a set of wheels behind the main driving wheels, but his R series has a set of wheels in front of the driving wheels. what and why are there different setups of wheels and what are the difference in the two meant for? Great vid as always sir👍Also Tim please don't put a big silly steering wheel on her, the Scania one is just fine.
Love the new truck Tim but when are we cracking on with the r series? Can’t wait to see the project resume
Keep it blue with the V8 logos, put your name board on etc and add some white accents, opposite to the R, give it its own identity as the daily workhorse
Get on the dash and look up start up checks to find the break wear etc
I thought the truck was factory new. I wouldn't paint it. I love the color
New truck looks amazing, but what's with the inside wall of the front left tyre at 15:06? Looks like it's got a pretty bad gash in it... might want to have a look at that mate, last thing you want is a front blowout!
Unbelievable how far you've come tim followed from day 1 absolutely love it ❤
Tim I really do like the color of the truck u should put trim pieces in white
agreed get well soon Tim
Canny wait to see the R series interior 👍
I beg you tim, do not put a pirate ship wheel on the scania S
Sean’s new pit it pretty ducking cool tbf
That red r-series on the fridge was Joe rothery from brough on the a66
23:05 - 23:15 And ❤showed you spending the best part of ten seconds when you were not watching the road. Do you not realise it only takes a split second for something to happen.
Keep the patterns but maybe have the V8 like in your blue colour or something and the lines in black maybe?
Next is a Tcab
