As an American truck driver....I love it. With all the companies now you dont see this level of customization or pride here anymore.
At the moment we are changing a lot of n/s/f shock absorbers on Scania new gen units equipped with front air suspension, the shockers literally destroy themselves into 3 pieces and throw oil everywhere, seems like the shockers don’t have enough travel in them to cope with high suspension setting.
Be sure to keep.a few quid spare for block repairs and new liners.
My mates 20 plate 580 has had 3 already, and his 19 plate 500 six cylinder versions are giving up the ghost all over the place.
Mine is beyond economic repair with only 740ks.

What you want to do is adjust the raise chassis lift height when tag raised to 30mm instead of 65mm and wing tops will be less damaged 👍🏻

Tim Tim Tim, Greyscale Airbrushing defo on the back, with flicks of trucker Tim blue maybe ? Or just duo tone trucker Tim blues airbrushing. What to airbrush ? Either all your mates who have helped make the truck it is and bring your channel to life. Or a heavy amount of v8 graphics and the scania logo montage again all airbrushed a what ever you do airbrushed, what great content watching someone do that it is a skill .And leave the stacks for the new truck mate, something new and unique init.

Put the v8 badge on the back of the r series and word it saying never late in a v8 it would look good on the back of the r series cab
Trucker tim can you adjust the fifth wheel make it a tiny bit high so it will give you a bit of clearance for the wheel covers and won't get caught on rubbing on the trailer by the fifth wheel
Everything you will touch on the regular like the indicator stalks, buttons and dial switches, are all the perfect colour to collect every single atom of dirt off of your fingers when you touch them :'D
Also would moving the Fifth wheel BACK on the truck make more sense as then you can hook up to other trailers and know they will clear the truck? Or is the idea behind it to use your trailer exclusively?

Great video. glad Shaun was on it, tho it does look like you exploded a smurf on the r series interior tim. Tho if you keep the s and 4 series in the same colours they are or where I think they would look good in my opinion, the colour suits them and definitely put stacks on the s series for show purposes.

Tbh. I don’t think you need to go all out on the new gen if that wil be your work truck. I mean you can make it look good in your colors, but also make it easy to work with. Like the splitter, i would not make one for the work truck.

I have a suggestion that you should pick a subscriber each week and put it on a plaque in your S series
Hi Tim, I have a build idea for you and I guarantee nobody has ever done before. You should head over to India and buy yourself a Tata 1613 truck and get it imported to the UK. Unfortunately these trucks are very underpowered so first and foremost you should do an engine swap, stick a Scania V8 engine in there. I'm sure Bengineer will figure out a way no problem. Then do the usual add on some dura brights, RGB under glow, side pipe or stacks (either is fine really), train horn for some glorious TOOOONES and of course have it resprayed in your white, black and blue colour scheme. I'm sure DAREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEENNNNN will do a smashing job on the paint work. Honestly Tim you will turn heads at all the truck shows with this build!!!
Why not use the shoe apartment in your truck? So when you get in. You take the shoes off and put them in the little room in the door. I'm just curious really

Scanias are better than Dafs any day of the week lol. only good thing about a daf is the cruise control and its badge (}defective at factory)

Tim you can put a big V8 in Gold and it will look good. Take care and safe trucking
Think you need to get the back end of the R flat first then v8 airbrush
