Even as someone that wants to see Sainz win for McLaren, you cannot deny the talent Gasly showed today and that picture sums up how crazy his time in F1 is. This race had everything, Bottas swamped on lap 1, McLaren in P2 and P3 from the start, Vettels break failure, Magnussen’s breakdown and the subsequent confusing pit lane closure, Hamilton and Giovinazzi breaching the pit lane closure, Leclerc’s huge crash straight after the safety car went in, the red flag, the pit lane closure fiasco during the red flag, the typical back markers up front, Hamilton having to scramble back up the field and an immense final few laps between Gasly and Sainz! Plus the usually 3 didn’t win!

Won't happen. Gasly did not gel with Red Bull, was not comfortable there and performed poorly. Just because he is happy, content and thriving at Alpha Tauri it doesn't mean that he would at Red Bull again. It clearly didn't work the first time and if he was to go back he will have that unsuccessful first stint at RB on his mind plus extra pressure to deliver. Maybe he just wasn't ready, maybe he doesn't even know why he performed badly at RB, but it is clear that with a team that suits him, he can do really well.
See tho that was the first time. As well remember the redbull is said to be one of the cars that is hard to get accustomed to. So if Gasley goes back to redbull he will probably be better than how he was on his first stint, I believe so and a lot of other people do too.

The race that became one of the reasons that the sport had started to change its landscape. And it still gives a tear to my eye with happiness watching this.
The shot of Gasly alone sat on his podium was beatiful, so emotional I'm so lucky to have seen this as it happened knowing he absolutely deserved this win
Even as someone that wants to see Sainz win for McLaren, you cannot deny the talent Gasly showed today and that picture sums up how crazy his time in F1 is. He’s constantly improving and to be rewarded like this is tremendous. The picture shows his character perfectly. Better than a conventional podium picture.

This race had everything, Bottas swamped on lap 1, McLaren in P2 and P3 from the start, Vettels break failure, Magnussen’s breakdown and the subsequent confusing pit lane closure, Hamilton and Giovinazzi breaching the pit lane closure, Leclerc’s huge crash straight after the safety car went in, the red flag, the pit lane closure fiasco during the red flag, the typical back markers up front, Hamilton having to scramble back up the field and an immense final few laps between Gasly and Sainz!
Plus the usually 3 didn’t win!

Won't happen. Gasly did not gel with Red Bull, was not comfortable there and performed poorly. Just because he is happy, content and thriving at Alpha Tauri it doesn't mean that he would at Red Bull again. It clearly didn't work the first time and if he was to go back he will have that unsuccessful first stint at RB on his mind plus extra pressure to deliver.
Maybe he just wasn't ready, maybe he doesn't even know why he performed badly at RB, but it is clear that with a team that suits him, he can do really well.
See tho that was the first time. As well remember the redbull is said to be one of the cars that is hard to get accustomed to. So if Gasley goes back to redbull he will probably be better than how he was on his first stint, I believe so and a lot of other people do too.
