I don't ever think the initial consultation should cost anything I mean you don't even know if there's Rapport between you and the attorney or if you you know just don't want to hire an attorney on music you know you get what you pay for I realize that but it's the same time what if you pay for something you know I mean look at the you put this out on TH-cam I mean that's that's information right there but at the same time why do you need names and dates and all of that could be done prior to it you know I just don't think the initial consultation causing something I don't think so no it's not something that should be charged maybe 25 or $50 but I mean it depends if you lay out like a synopsis or an outline of what they have to expect from it and all of that and then you know that I mean maybe it's worth it I just don't know it doesn't seem like it should cost anything though maybe you could write I mean not right maybe you could put out consultation put out the consultation you know I can outline a fly does have to cost and if it cost it benefits the client

Hi Stephanie. I appreciate. you taking the time to comment. A lot of lawyers do not charge for their initial consultations. What we do is different, however. We not only give initial information, we provide the person with a strategy based on what they have told us. We have outlined an approach. We have often taken the first step of moving forward with their matter, etc. As well, while I do not believe in gouging clients for fees, I do believe that I should be paid for my expertise. I have been doing this work for more than 27 years and say with absolute confidence that someone is in good hands with me. I get someone to fill out initial information so I have a context, and we literally hit the ground running in terms of me giving advice, direction, and outlining a plan moving them forward and avoiding unnecessary conflict. I am not only good at what I do and organized, but deeply care and practice law with my whole heart. On top of all of that, we provide a money-back guarantee for the consultation with no questions asked. If someone is not happy with their initial consultation. This happened only twice ever. Every single other person walked away with the feeling they got great value for the money spent. Only two people ever said they did not want to pay. Once when I did the consultation before asking to be paid. He said he did not want to pay me. I didn't argue. A couple weeks later the same person asked to hire me. The other person asked for his money back but then later wanted to hire me too. So, yes, depending on the lawyer they might do the initial consult for free or a small fee, however, do expect to be paid. Let me ask you this, would Picasso give a painting away for free? I hope this perspective helps.

No one should get divorced unless true abuse is going on
