▼Ingredients
(About 12-15 servings)
Unsalted Butter 60g
Sugar 40g
Black Sugar 5g
Egg 1
Cake Flour 130g
Cocoa Powder 10g
Baking Soda 1g
Cholocate Chips 20g
Tapioca Starch 30g
Sugar 20g
Milk 110g
Unsalted Butter 5g
▼Instructions
1. Mix the butter and sugar together using hand whisk until very light and fluffy, then beat in the egg.
2. Sift in the flour, Cocoa Powder, Baking Soda and Cholocate chips.
3. Cover the cookie dough and chill for at least 2-3 hours
4. Tapioca Starch, Sugar and Milk add into a small pot, bring it dough over low heat. Add butter mix until combined, chill for at least 2 hours
5. Roll the cookie dough and mochi into balls
6. Bake 180°C 12-14mins

@@TaecYoona126 I heard others say you could microwave the cookies for 10 sec after refrigeration
I have tried to make that before and the mochi inside literally became kinda hard the next day. You can just put the cookies in a ziplock bag or a jar. :p
@@angellam4942 you coupd microwave them. I did that and the mochi was soft and chewy again!
Yeh I made them last time and I keep them in an air tight jar but the cookies get soggy because of the mochi inside :((( I don’t know how to store them right

而且tapioca 粉的成品放久是比較不會潮濕出水，保濕性高一些。

Hi~ is it possible to substitute tapioca starch with cornstarch for this recipe?
i tried to find substitutes for tapioca starch and yes cornstarch/rice flour can also be used!
According to Healthline "it has a much stronger thickening capacity than tapioca flour, so you need to cut the amount in your recipe by about half. For instance, if your recipe calls for 2 tablespoons of tapioca flour, use only 1 tablespoon of cornstarch as a substitute."
