There are many ways to build Alphamon because his effects are so generic (except the 'Royal Knight' requirement for his shield), but the approach I've taken here is a purely defensive Security deck. The main reason is because I'm dedicating all of Black's offensive potential to the Gankoomon deck instead, and while combining both Alpha and Gankoo isn't a bad idea, I wanted to keep them separate for this tournament. That's why Gankoo isn't the secondary Royal Knight for this deck. As a side comment, this Alpha's Security game is usually much better than what we see in this match.
Craniamon has so much potential by its own. Digivolving it into zwart defeat is a huge misplay in my opinion. Beside.... There's no single tamer in the opponent field so it's kind of pointless.
That's a good call! Perhaps the outcome of the match would have changed if Craniamon hadn't evolved. But personally I disagree. Craniamon cant protect Blockers from DP minus destruction and its own effectiveness as a blocker can be nullified by DP minus. So for this matchup specifically, I don't think he could have done much

It is right that Bibimon doesn't activate because the Lucemon "On Play" effect isn't part of the chain of events. From here it should have been Blocker first (The Agumon) and then the Lucemon recovery. This order matters in some situations so I thought it was worth mentioning.

But btw bandai rules state that a player can choose the order in which to activate his effects so for example he can choose to activate angewomons effect to play the lucemon and recover and then activate other effects that say "when attacking if you have 3 security etc" or vice versa.

Actually while playing I realised leaving Dynas at 4 can be wrong. In the game, the Alpha player can see that Manticore is in hand from Reinforce Memory Boost. So if you leave Dynas at 4: 4 -> 3 -> 4 -> 5 But by knocking Dynas down to 3: 3 -> 4 -> 3 -> 4 If you know Dynas can get 3 themselves anyway, it can be better to build momentum by putting them at 3 rather than waiting at 4!

Actually, the first time I played this match I tried to leave Dynas' sec at 4 and Alpha died harder and faster without a chance. That's how I learned in this situation, knocking to 3 is better. Alpha's field was big enough to pressure Dynas into defence, but only if their sec was at 3
This is a pretty great match. With Black's greater focus on security digimon and memory gain through defense. it is a more viable strategy. That being said, Yellow really believes 3 is their lucky number and the synergy is on point. Frankly, with Dynasmon in the mix, I could see a pairing with Mastemon for when Lucemon Falldown mode descends. Here's hoping that this does come to pass.

Only when security is at exactly 3 for the digitama. For wizardmon is when security is removed. Pulsemon promo best cuz it gain when sec is 3 or less and draw if 3 or more. Bt6 pulsemon only gains if u discard sec to 3 so if u have 3 sec it does nothing lol.
Once per turn effects are applied on a per card basis, so multiple Bibimons can each activate once in a turn. You just can't activate the same Bibimon more than once per turn.
Are you playing with yourself and trying to purposely throw the game? It seems black is purposely not crashing into chaosmon just to let it gain advantage over time. Such a poor quality game.

The stars of this match for me were the level 2s, didn’t expect Bibimon to be this useful, also Pagumon providing that solid draw power for Black.
