Well clearly SOMEONE is angry at being treated like a pawn. Seriously though, while Eosmon can be a pretty inconsistent deck due to its Lv.5 engine, its explosive power when it gets a good hand and shuffle is absolutely destructive. In my playtesting, Dynasmon usually won this matchup. Not because of Dynasmon, but I realised my BT-04 WarGreymon tech checks Eosmon really well if it gets out early. That -6000 every turn when Eos still doesn't have an established field basically stops them from playing.
rustmarrow DCGverse lore: Dynasmon could only watch in horror as the fully transformed Eosmon and her swarm of Lv.5s cut down his squadron of Wargryemon like they were paper wyverns. Lucemon tsked. Why were all his minions so useless? In a battle against a Tamer, the most straightforward method to ensure victory was... Flying through the Eosmon storm, Lucemon grabbed Menoa by the neck and started strangling her. He smirked. "Not so haughty anymore, huh? If you return Eosmon to me, I just might consider sparing your life." Choking, Menoa somehow mustered the strength to spit in the fallen angel's face. "Never." Lucemon scowled. But just as he was about to put all his power into crushing her neck, something collided into his side with enough force to throw him off. Hissing with fury, he turned to identify whatever got in his way. If it was another one of the small Eosmons, he would obliterate it into dust. But it wasn't. And as a tear trickled down Menoa's face, she couldn't believe her eyes. Standing between her and Lucemon was none other than her old partner, the partner she lost - Morphomon. The tiny Insect Digimon wasn't fully materialised though. Its body was translucent, the outlines glitching with sparks of data. But it was Morphomon nonetheless. "I won't let you lay a hand on Menoa!" it exclaimed. And as if in response to that cry, the Eosmons all froze and turned to aim their cold gazes at Lucemon. Some of the Lv.5s started evolving, producing several Lv.6s. They were reacting to Morphomon's will, using the tiny Digimon as a conduit to absorb energy from the Core Server and evolve. This isn't good. "Dynasmon, we're getting out of here!" With those words, Lucemon fled the space without waiting for his battered minion to follow. As their enemies fled, the swarm of Eosmons finally settled down. They gathered in a ring, surrounding and watching over Menoa and her original partner, reunited. Now all that remained was Menoa's decision. What was she going to use the Core Server to do?
Finally new upload 🥳 *Edit: was corrected. Since stated with lucemon it is correct to be on top of security and the ruling was specifically for start of the game (setting up the security) sorry my bad
Do you have a link to that? Don't think I caught wind of that at all, and no one's mentioned it in my other recent videos with recovery EDIT: I think you're wrong man, I've looked up all the recent ruling changes and there's no such thing. In fact, even the card text itself says Recovery cards go on top of Security, so it would be weird for them to change that
@Mex Rivera Bro... you read it completely wrong LOL. It's literally the 'Game Setup' section man. This only refers to the 5 Security you start the game with. Since you place the top 5 cards of your deck to create your first 5 Security, the top card of your deck will end up at the bottom of your starting Security. That's what they mean. Please don't go around spreading this false info hahaha
This was a stellar match. Maybe if Dynasmon got out, things could have played out differently but it looks like Menoa is destroying all comers... until maybe Jesmon has something to say about it. On a side note, what do you think of the Analog Tamer being put in an Eosmon deck? Because giving this deck more resource recovery sounds mad.
Nope, when DP hits 0, a Digimon is still counted as deleted and will trigger any [On Delete] skills. The tricky part is this: it is not counted as being 'deleted by the opponent or opponent's effect'. This is because, according to the rules, all the opponent did was reduce the Digimon's DP and the deletion itself was simply a consequence of game mechanics. Hence, the opponent will not be able to trigger any 'when you/your effect deletes an opponent's Digimon' effects. Likewise, you cannot evade destruction by DP 0 with effects that prevent 'destruction by the opponent's card effects'. Hope this clarifies things!
if I'm not mistaken if you already have menoa then you play eosmon digimon and the memory goes to your opponent's side, you can't use the menoa's effect to search your top deck because that effect can only activated on "your turn". but yeah eosmon is really fun to play and got so many potentials.
Nope, you can. Even if the Memory has crossed to the opponent's side, you get to resolve all of your effects that can be activated by your last action before it becomes the opponent's turn. And of course, this applies to all other cards as well. Hope this clarifies the rules!
I really don't think Takumi fits in Eosmon deck. I know he has his uses, but he makes Morphmon and Wormon almost useless, by making you pay memory to attack with your own digimon that you want to remove 1 security and be deleted to trigger there effect. Dynasmon can make a nice combo with WarGreymon, but i think it fits better with Crusadermon, or with Mastemon.
On Takumi, I think he's a necessary evil in the deck. Eosmon's greatest weakness is bricking and running out of Eos in hand so the additional draws are very powerful to keep the engine going. And at the end of the day, he locks the opponent's Rookies as well. So I think the trade-off is worth it. Morpho and Worm are more for early game setup too. Once your board is established, the Eos will run themselves. As for Dynas, I actually disagree quite a lot on those. Crusader and Dynas have no effect synergy at all. And Mastemon only goes off once when evolved. WarGrey on the other hand, can be fired to combo with Dynas every turn once set up. And its double attack complements Angewo very well to set up additional Luces!
Correct me if I'm wrong, but don't the rules state that in order to attack, there needs to be a target (either security or suspended digimon)? If you have a negative security, and your opponent has no suspended digimon, what is your attack target? I love your videos by the way.
I understand why he's attacking (to activate the inherited skill), but I would like an official ruling on whether or not you can attack with a digimon that doesn't have a target. For instance; I cannot use flower cannon if my opponent doesn't have any digimon in the battle area.
@@alexcaraballo3189 You do have a target, you're just not doing any damage. Getting negative security attack doesn't mean you're not able to attack security, just that you'd that much less damage when you do. If you could theorically get your security attack to +2 the same turn you got hit by Angewo's effect, then you'd be able to deal damage no problem.
I get it now. The attack is declared to the opponent. If the attack isn't blocked, then the attack goes through, and a security check is conducted, but if your digimon has a minus to security, then no check is performed. My confusion came from not realizing that every attack is either directed to the player, or one of their suspended digimon.

Any thoughts on Dynasmon with LordKnightmon decl
You mean putting LordKnight and Dynas in a deck?

How many Eosmon you want in the deck?

Yes, I'd definitely add Analog boy in! But I'm a little conflicted on what to swap out tbh

The amount of tamers and eosmon, holy moly

Sadly dynasmon specify build need more support or else it's just mix into mastermon or sec control or zoo deck
Menoa was out for blood this fight, damn!
