    holy shit you guys just solved a mystery i've had! I have a PSE brute atk and its always had a little pop during the draw cycle! It sounded like it was coming from the top cam, i thought it might be some kind of debris in the limb pocket or something. the limbs are of course fine and i couldnt tell what it was, just been shooting with it. the tip about the wax worked! its 11 pm here and as soon as i saw that part on the 30 inch mach i went and waxed my mod right away and it worked immediately! yall are the best love what yall do! thanks so much!

    Everybody keeps saying the Hoyt Rx7 with its extra 1/2lb in weight plus a extra lump of rubber on the front of it which makes it nearly a lb heavier is Deader than the Pse Carbon bows. I'm thinking it's time guys you put that Lump of Rubber plus weights on The Pse Carbon bow to make it up to the same weight as the Hoyt Rx7 and then give us your thoughts in a video. Just an idea like🤔🤗

    yall was wrong in your commentary the rx7ultra was keeping up with the pse s cam in performance on 30" and beat the ecam at 30"

  • @Masonm109
    @Masonm109 ปีที่แล้ว +4

    Pse knocked it out of the park with the Mach 34, good speeds with the forgiveness of the ~7” bh. I would run the ec cam just for the great draw but ability to have a long draw e2 and short draw s2. Giving every archer a choice on this platform.

      The RX7 Ultra does everything better, than the mach 34. with EC cams . Literally EVERYTHING

    • @Masonm109
      @Masonm109 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@kylemacdonell1450 yes the Hoyt rx-7 is a very nice bow, I will tell that to anyone. But what’s the point of paying $1899 for a 4.3 lb bow when you can save $450 and go with aluminum version. Pse at least has a significant weight savings compared to the Hoyt.

    • @kylemacdonell1450
      @kylemacdonell1450 ปีที่แล้ว

      @kurtmayes9986 a few reasons
      The specs are better for some on the ultra
      32" draw
      Slightly longer ATA
      Better brace height too
      The carbon is more dead in hand
      The carbon is Warmer in cold climate

    • @dannygroves6764
      @dannygroves6764 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@kylemacdonell1450I don't think the hoyt does anything better. It's so funny how a big name and all the popular people have bought them and have to take up for their mistake. Maybe you think the hoyt is all that. I've owned several and sold them. I now shoot the PSE Carbon Air Stealth EC cam 29 in draw, 425 grain arrow 295 fps.

  • @parkerlipetzky
    @parkerlipetzky ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Would you rather shoot the easy pulling hoyt or pse with ec2 cam at 80lbs.... or pse with the stiff pulling s2 cam at 70lbs?????????

    • @GlenKimpton
      @GlenKimpton ปีที่แล้ว

      I've been wandering the same thing. Not necessarily 80lb vs 70lb. But an ec2 cam wound up to match the speed of an s2 cam on 70lb.. might only be 70lb S2 and 76lb EC2?

  • @muleybuckco
    @muleybuckco ปีที่แล้ว +3

    Shot them all, thought the pse sucked, to me the draw was harsh, and the cams creaking is a joke at that level, The RX7 was as expected from Hoyt top notch, I'm a mathews phase 4 shooter and have zero brand loyalty, I shoot what feels the best to me

  • @j.s.3414
    @j.s.3414 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

    Really like my 34 with the S2...I enjoy shooting my buddies Rx7, but to me the PSE's are more pleasant to shoot...not to mention the PSE carbon risers look like a stealth fighter jet. Hoyt can keep the rear pregnancy bump.

      Your right. But really its been for years, they always lead in performance it seems. I don't understand all the guys writing in saying I shoot 80 pounds. 400 grain arrow 29 in draw and 280 fps
      Wow that's terrible. Your killin your shoulder for any kind of speed I shoot a PSE Carbon Air Stealth 64 pounds 29 in draw, 425 grain arrow 295 fps at 64 pounds. You just can't beat that in my book. I've owned several hoyts and sold all of them. I own the PSE and 2 Matthew's now, I'm good. I'm be looking for another PSE Carbon bow eventually. Take care.

    I went from a short ass V3 27 shooting 75lbs to the Mach 34 with the S cam shooting 80 and DAMNNN! Let me tell you, you feel every bit of 80lbs on the PSE. 😂😂.
    I like the trade off longer axle/axle and it feels so much better and stable. I had my Mathew’s weighted up with a front bar, back bar…. the PSE with that long axle/axle is stable. I wonder what’s going on with speeds at 30” draw tho? Normally PSE the only ones who are honest about it

    What the hell PSE Mach 34 with the E2 cam is the one you want to test for Speed... it has a draw length of 29 to 33... I'm shooting of 418 grain Arrow at 300 ft per second at 62 lb... the Evolve cam and the S2 cam are the slowest of there 3 offerings... looks to me like you just wanted the Hoyt to be close to win this... you can tell by the big Hoyt Banner in the background... go get a 34 with the E2 Cam and do this again boys... oh yeah and the brace height on the E2 is over 7 in...

    Some bows come in A Pound to 3 - 4 pounds on average heavy. When you lower the poundage, you're increasing the draw length 1/4 - 1/2. So what's the trade off on speeds, in more poundage and a little more DL? Why even back it down. I know people would bitch it's unfair.
