- Three years ago, our church finally decided to explore the digital world of sound. We bought our first digital mixer!!! That was a Moses-splits-the-Red-Sea moment for us because, finally, we will have the ability to create our own monitor mixes. Meaning, we get to independently decide what we wanna hear in our in-ears. At this point, the next step is to buy floor monitors only to find out that it would cost us a HUGE amount of money - More than the money we raised to buy the new front of house system we just purchased! So we explored a cheaper and surprisingly better option that suits our needs!

I just brought HA8000 we have a limited aux in our mixer so we go to the second option to use a direct box thru. unfortunately main 1 and main 2 are muted when you have a direct input.

Hey mate can I get a quick reply for my question, will this xlr to trs cable splitted into all 8 outputs also will it give stereo sound, and I had tried one trs cable and inserted into main input mono, it is giving me in all 8 output and right main input has written "balanced", so my question is do I need to buy one balanced trs and one unbalanced trs cable or xlr to trs cable that you shown in video will work perfectly for stereo sound, please reply asap if possible we have recorded tomorrow 😅
Hi Kyle, great content! We got the soundcraft ui24r thanks to your videos. I assume the mixer you were referring here (is the one you are using now) is the the ui24r. Are you using the Aux sends with a short snake for the individual mix and are you still using the thrus from you DI boxes? TIA

If I connect the independent audio chanel in mono, or stereo in the direct input, Can I control its gains in the phones output? use it like an amplifier to control different audio channels individualy and no mixing everyone in all frontal output channels?
Mixing happens at your aux sends. The output of this headphone amp is only a master volume.
Since the Direct input is TRS can you not take a Stereo Female XRL to TRS cable to take a stereo mix from your desk? for example; linking AUX 1 & 2 on your desk and panning things like Guide cues and click to either left or right.

Hi there, unfortunately ang aming mixer ay xr12 lang and it only has 2 aux outs. Would it still work? If yes, how? I mean we badly need to setup a monitor po so we're not really concerned now about individual mixing. Was thinking that it's a good prep for the upgrade of our mixer too (xr18). Hope you can enlighten me po hehe thank you!
In have some noise issue using those tools, I'm using M32 on FOH and DL32, the distance of FOH to Stage about 32 m, the input on HA8000, is came from 0utput from DL32, as know that DL 32 doesn't have aux out.
Any sokution ?

An xtuga rw2080 transmitter only gives you 2 separate mixes. The only way to have separate mixes for you receivers is to add transmitter/s.

Yes we use click/metronome. But you can always choose to not use click 💯

Hey Bryan! I recommend a 1:1 ratio for aux send and musician so they have mono independent mixes. For in-ears, use a headphone extension cable.
Sir, unsa katas.a ang ginagamit ninyo nga cable from HA8000 going to your IEM headphone? does not affect the audio quality if it reaches 5 meters?
We use 10m cables and they sound good :)

Is the aux send stereo or mono . I see you used a mono cable..... xlr by 1 /4 inch mono i'm not getting stereo in the ears ?
We use mono in our setup. This is because of of number of outs we have.
If we'll use the Behringer p2 headphone amplifier to each musician, do we still need the Behringer HA8000?
No you don’t, RJ. P2 is a headphone amp already.

Hey Benny! Here's a list of things you should check:
- Cables and connectors
- your in-ears 3.5mm (most inears that have microphones have this problem)

Yes, take 2 auxes from you mixer. You can use the main inputs since they are stereo.

What impedance headphones work best with this unit?
I have used different in ears and a studio headphone for this, it all worked perfectly fine. You may just have to adjust volume since it is affected by the headphone’s impedance

Hey bro! Important ang DI for two main reasons:
1. Long unbalanced cables (or instrument cables) can pickup noise/interference so kailangan mo siya iconvert to balanced cable (microphone cable) using a DI
2. Most mixers expect a mic level input. (May exception lang yung iba kasi may Hi-Z feature).

Hello Troy! Kung maraing zux ang existing mixer niyo, I suggest go for in-ears. If hindi, then simplify, go for a stage monitor (PS: magagamit mo rin ang monitor for other church events)
we have a Behringer X32 Digital Mixer in our church and we connected each aux to each musician in-ear, what would be the value/benefit to use this equipment? or do you think that we don’t need it?
What existing equipment do you use for your in ears now?
I suggest you use the audio networking capability of x32 and buy p-16 in ear monitors. That will allow the musician to have a personal control over their own in-ear mix. It's more pricey though.
@@JadeNazareno musicians can use the X-air app on their phone to give personal control over their monitor signal.
Hi Pas kyle. We are using behringer x18 digital mixer sa church. Anim lang din aux out nya, yung dalawang aux ginamit ko for wedges, yung isa sa wired iem ng drummer namin. We are planning na lahat mag IEM na. Kaso kulang na aux out namin. Do you have any suggestion kung paano ko madagdagan ang aux out namin? Thank you pas 🙏
Hey Jonas! You can use your headphone outs as additional auxes. Make them your Aux 7 and 8. :)

Hello Aldo! In our setup, our in-ear system replaced our stage monitors. The only thing left is our bass amp since it gives us a solid bass tone.

I connect exactly like how you described. In our church we have the XAIR18 digital mixer (6 aux sends) plugged to direct input at the back.
At the front we have our trs mini jack converters to male mini jacks to female jacks to plug in our headphones to.
The minute i turn up the volume like pass 11oclock, it begings to give me hiss
The problem may be in the cables or trs adapters. Or it may also be a noise from one of your inputs.

unya, naa mi DI Box, ja need na diba nga e ON ang phantom power karon kay dili man motingog ang acoustic, ja naa man boom nga sound mogawas sa PA ug e ON namo ang phantom power.
1. Do your acoustic guitar will be damaged if you turn on phantom power straight to it
2. I think the best way to go for your setup is upgrade your mixer so you can have access to outputs.

Hello bro! Suggest ko TRS gamitin mo kasi mic input ang sinisend mo from your mixer.
To troubleshoot your system, you can try these:
1. Kung may stereo/mono switch yung headphone micro amp, switch it to mono.
2. Use an earphone/headphone na walang mic. Dapat dalawang lines lang yung plug niya.

So if I have 6 aux’s, and I plug them all into the HA8000, would the 8 people using the outputs, receive their own stereo mixes?
Or I’m assuming a few of them will share the same mono mixes ?
Here’s how the system works bro,
1 aux : 1 mono mix
Each of the eight channels has two headphone out sockets, and one input socket. With the Behringer XR18 digital mixer you have six auxilliaries plus two main outputs. So you could use all eight inputs. Six would be individual monitor. The other two being front of house left and right. So if some performers are ok with the FOH mix in their headphones, and others able to share a mix you have potentially eighteen musicians supported. When my band has performed as a seven piece, the non singing drummer and bass player shared a mix, whilst the other five of us each had our own monitor mix. Alternatively, if you can run to the cost of a second XR18, a splitter box and a few more cables. Running all signals first into the splitter, then the first XR18 could be used as a monitor mixer giving eight monitor channels, whilst the second runs FOH only.

1) A DI THRU is basically a direct output from your instrument. Think of it as a "raw" signal ng instrument mo.
2) Based sa video, sa dirent input mo siya ipuplug. Ang main input is yung monitor mix from the mixer po.
