I'm really petrified and heartbroken over how much harm and destruction was caused in the name of Yahweh 😔 I personally have very good relationship with Him due to my family being christian 😔 It hurts me a lot to think how many ppl were deprived of their beautiful culture and beliefs, persecuted and killed in the name of my faith and my very favorite God 💔 The Old Ways are so beautiful and magickal... Who in their right mind would want to destroy a culture, just because it's different? I probably would never understand that. I however, am aware of how much people are afraid and suspicious of what they don't understand... But to take this fear and uncertanity to this level... It's mindblowing in the very worst way possible. Thank You, sir, for this wonderful video ❣ I totally adore to learn more about ancient cultures 😍 I love it 💚

It makes me especially mad because those cultures go back much further than christianity so the new kid just bullied out the older ones really. There's no other way to put it. I don't see buddhists going on crusades yet they enjoy a large following. There was no need for all this malice and wrongdoing on the part of the christians. One of the reasons I've never been able to truly identify with being roman catholic. I've tried, and for most of my younger years went to church, had communion etc. but once I got to make my own choices and base those on my own findings, it just became harder and harder to see the point of it for lack of better words. Don't get me wrong there are positives like encouraging what I consider basic ethics or morals, that they tried to enforce via the 10 commandments but in my opinion if you are a truly good person you don't need someone to tell you what is right and what is wrong. You should have enough empathy to know beforehand that something will bring pain and grief and just not do it because of that, not because you feel forced by a law. That is just fake. And it really is christianity where I see the most hypocrites. Doing reproachable things during the week to thump the bible on sunday and to pretend they are better than what they are, and worst of all, better than others. I haven't met many people who truly live what they preach. Probably less than I could count on 1 hand

I am from Thailand and after watching Vikings and Midsommar I start studying about runes and nordic cultures. weeks I've tried using the last stave [Sleep Thorn] but I couldn't found any pice of oack here so I drew it on the paper with pencil and put it under my pillow. I don't know why, I sleep better, deeper, and longer. I am not sure that is it magic or someting but it's weird that I will always feel sleepy when I lie on my bed with this stave under my pillow. However I still can awake and alive.

This is a really great introduction video to magical staves so thank you! I am doing a great amount of research for personal and professional reasons in developing my graduate thesis and I had a question about the "Lukkustafir". I have been reading a lot recently about this stave and came across several articles that have come to realise that this was written in the publication of The Galdrabók and is not in fact the Lukkustafir but a second Vegvísir. Whereas the real Lukkustafir stave can be found in the Huld manuscript. The other stave actually a token of guidance. Do you know anything about this? I'm really intersted in delving further into Scandanavian history and this has been something I have been looking for clarity on.

  • @n-signia1087

4:36 Changes I’ve found so far.
    1. The line at the 9 o clock position doesn’t have equal length forked lines at the end.
    2. The line below 9 o clock has a horizontal line and an inward facing curve added to it.
As to their purpose, I don’t have the slightest idea because I don’t know how to write the staves. I can replicate them just fine, in the same way a person that only speaks Russian can draw Japanese Kanji. Anybody can draw a letter or symbol, but it takes real skill to learn what they mean.

Hi. I'm doing some research on my culture and its history and I was wondering if I could ask you a couple questions. First I was wondering, you said that one of the staves could be created and used by both genders, then later for a different stave you said that this stave would protect HIM from evil. Can only males create and use most spells? If so, what are the ones that woman can do; because I wouldn't mind trying some of these, however I would like to be safe about it which leads me into my next question. In a previous video you said that something important to keep in mind when using these staves is to know which spells are permanent and which ones are temporary, So I was wondering which of these are which. Also, if you use a luck stave and the instructions are to wright it on paper and keep it in your pocket, when you eventually take it out of your pocket will you have bad luck? Same sort of question about the permanent staves, If the spell tells you to put it in a wooden box and hide it in your room what will happen if it is found or opened by yourself or another person, will the spell reverse its self, will you get more bad luck, or will the spell its self just stop working. Like I said, id like to try out some of these but I want to be safe about it. Finally last question, do you had any book recommendations that could teach me more about Iceland's history and its culture because I really want to learn more but I don't know where to start.

Hello there, thank you. You mean th Lukkustafir at 11:14? And you mean Vegvisir? It's indeed from the Huld manuscript, however it's a Luck-stave, it's not a variant of a Vegvisir because the Vegvisir is in itself is already a variant of the Aegishjalmar type of magical signs.

I think that it all boils down to how each people, person, egregores, cultures, religions etc interpret and mainly manifest their particular and collective reality dogmatized in rites, mythology, symbols etc. caring in regional, temporal, vibrational, multidimensional, planetary, universal, multiuniversal and without definitions beyond the cognizable of infinity. Nobody's right or shouted: everything in the whole is timeless, indefinable, unpronounceable and interconnected through the inner self and each other. Just insights.... Sorry for the outburst. The information I gave, especially about the "worms" comes from other sources, historical and archaeological, and we just have to find similarities in germanic cultures and religious beliefs that match these symbols, trying to explain what they were probably used for according to the descriptions on the manuscripts and according to the runic symbols.
