Such a sick ride! Glad you made it after the crank arm issue the day before, and that we finished this ride despite the tire issues. We need to do it again soon, & Darkside!
Bro, you need to give some space to rider in front of you. You had a lot of close calls where things could have gone VERY wrong. When following that close, you're focused on the riders rear tire and not looking at the trail ahead. You can tell by their reactions that they're uncomfortable. Be mindful of that. Otherwise, that looks like a fun ride.
I went over my handlebar because I was to close and just looking at the rider. He slowed down quick and I couldn't adjust and went over my bars in really dry and hard brush. I wasn't even going fast.
Hey man! Eric Harrison said I should reach out. I'm debating between a YT Capra 29 AL and a Rocky Mountain Instinct BC Edition. I've got an in with the RM dealer so I can get the two bikes within $400 of each other. This will be my only bike that I'll ride mostly as a trail bike. I'm a bigger dude (6 foot 2, 230) that loves the downhill so that's why I'm going with a long-travel 29er. I'm mostly worried about how well the Capra climbs! I'd love any thoughts you may have, hoping to pull the trigger in the next day or two. I'm excited to be subscribed to your channel!
The capra climbs ok as a 27.5 not sure a out the 29er but should be better. It all pays off on the decent tough. I would say demo the 29er at the San Clemente office, but if you are going to climb most of the time the jeffsy would be your best bet, you can still get the long travel on it as well. If you like bike parks from time to time, go witht the capra.
How long have you been riding? I get exhausted so quickly when ascending. Been biking for four weeks though. =D Haven't been on a bike for over 25 years.
WOW MT Wilson Great Video, thanks
Thanks, that was my fist and only time there so far. Need to go back soon.

I just hit this trail yesterday. It's so awesome and very sketchy.
Yeah man it's a good one, we had an extra climb in the beginning tough Haha.

About 2 years now, just have to keep up a routine to go at least once a week.
