Following on from Barnbaryak’s comments about the 3rd Act. I remember seeing a production of this ballet where at the very end Dr & Coppelia are left on stage after Frank & Swanilda’s wedding party have exited & Coppelia actually comes to life. The pair then merrily hold hands and joyfully exit the stage in the direction of the wedding party. A very powerful and heart warming ending to a great & magical ballet. One other small point, the location of the village or setting of this ballet is Poland or Hungary. I do notice certain aspects of the costumes to make them look more Spanish, especially in Act 1.
Can I be honest? I have just recently watched this ballet. The first act was a good introduction, the second act was absolutely phenomenal. ❤ However, I strongly disagree with how the story/third act ends. I could have written a different ending, a more exciting one. But altogether it was enjoyable. So definitely recommended. 👍

Franz was about to cheat on his girl, and the next day they get married? Sounds like a bad idea.
