Unfortunately yes, this is an old version! You can still drag your photos in to the Kapwing Studio to upload them, but you'll need to use the "Duration" dropdown menu to make them into a video. Choose, for example, 3 seconds for each image. Then, you can use the Audio sidebar to find or upload music. I hope this helps! We should remake this video soon...
Hi, I used ot make these videos and didnt pay. I came back 2 years later and I don't have Studio and it doesn't work the same? Does that mean I have to pay?
Is this free? I heard other slideshow viewers advertise free but ultimately you do need to purchase items. OK, I tried it and when I pasted a TH-cam video link just like you did, I'm just watching the video I pasted. I'm not seeing my pictures. This is not good, I've just wasted 48 minutes and I specifically wanted NOT to waste my precious time. Now I can't backspace to get back to the homepage. Wow. Thanks a bunch man.
I'm looking for something a little more complex, i'm looking to create a slideshow but transition and add effects to the beat of music, can this be done in kapwing?
Yes -- check out the "Timeline" tab for more sophisticated iMovie-style editing tools. You can upload multiple audio files and adjust timing with higher precision
The output is MP4. And I burned it to a DVD for my mom to play on her DVD player, but it doesn't work. Did I do something wrong? She's wants to use on her TV - play it during a Zoom anniversary party.
Music added in the main "Audio" tab should play through the whole project! If that still doesn't work, please email help@kapwing.com so we can look into the issue and work on fixing it :)

To add transitions, click your clip, go to the "Animate" tab on the right side and you can choose a transition there, then choose whether you want to apply it to the intro, outro, or both
It seems your brand name might pollute American English pronunciation, since it introduces a new consonant /pw/. I understand it's a new word created for your business and it maybe cool to you guys. I'm concerned with its social responsibility when it comes to language integrity.

Kapwing sucks, you have to pay 20$ a month to work on a project 2 days old. 0/10 would not recommend.
