Everything that made the former SATC series great, is missing in this sequel. It is so not natural! How can anybody like this? Where is the humor, the ironie ? It‘s the most fake show ever!
The man on the left is so charming. SO excited for her Nya! So neat to see Daniel Cosgrove (Matt) from the original Beverly Hills, 90210. Seema is too cool for school. :)
This whole thing feels uncomfortable, like even the actors seem visibly awkward. Carrie doesn't have that Carrie energy where you can tell SJP really enjoyed the role. She just looks like shes dialing it in for the paycheck...All of this is soooo weird, i dont think i have ever watched a really bad show but this is definitely the first awful show i ever watched yikes!!!
The whole point in going to a bar at a 5 star hotel was to MEET men. It wasn't intended to be a "girls' night". Samantha's whole mo was meeting men EXCEPT when it was girls' night. This wasn't girls' night. Samantha & Seema are also 2 different people.

@wynn1587 ohhhh, well again not an "official" girls night with just girl code "here for my girls ". As I recall, they were all 4 in Staten Island to judge a boy "cheesecake" contest of which the firemen were the featured cheesecake. All 4 ladies were getting drunk with men, and dancing with lots men. Sooooooo, not the same thing by a long shot. A perfect example was in the movie, SATC 2, and the ladies were in a club in Abu Dhabi & that sexy Dutch millionaire, Ricard approaches Samantha & she tells him "another time" & she's spending time with her girlfriends. Samantha was a great friend to all 3 of the other ladies. An example that comes to mind when Samantha did actually ditch a friend was when Carrie wanted her,,,, her meaning Samatha to come up to Aiden's cabin because she couldn't stand the cabin. Samantha goes off and literally rolls in the hay with the next door neighbor, Farmer John aka former stockbroker from Wall Street. Carrie made it clear she needed Samantha there for support, and Samantha couldn't stand it at the cabin, and went to drown her supportive "pain" in Farmer John's hay. So, when it is clear girl code stuff, Samantha USUALLY shows up & is very loyal but not always.
I gotta say, I do appericate that "That's how to address royalty" line. That was pretty smooth.
