I stopped watching after S1E1!! Though I did appreciate the idea of Aidan and Carrie reuniting, that was the only thing that I did like. I saw immediately where this was going and I wasn’t going to waste my time! It went “WOKE” starting with episode one. I was angry and saddened that they went that route. NOPE! I wasn’t going to let it ruin the fond memories I have of the “Sex and the City” series so I stopped watching IMMEDIATELY! Sadly they killed off Mr. Big at the very start of this series but at least it wasn’t a terrible end to his character. We all knew that he suffered from a heart condition but the other characters down fall was totally HORRIBLE!! They totally destroyed this show!! Like the saying, “everything woke turns to sh$t!! “And Just Like That..”, they destroyed what could’ve been great.
After all that Carrie put him through, the 5 year plan sounds reasonable. He will not rush into it because he wants to observe whether she is stable or not. Earlier when he wanted to marry her for real, she made it hard for him. She demanded 1 year remember? She was not sure because in her mind she was still hoping Big would come for her. Now that Big is dead, she is clinging on to her next best option. Nuh uh. Earn him bish.

He had to leave because of his 14 year old son, he was in a bad car accident and was high..Aidan said he wants to be with his sons, especially his 14 year old son. He told her he won't lose her again. He wants to be with her but he's putting his son first until he's out of his teen years, his son will be 15 years old and that's why Aidan said five years to be there for him. Nothing to do with Carrie.

Not one bit of this makes sense. Aiden is silly. There is nothing wrong with prioritzing your Children. However, it is wrong to hold someone else hostage if you are not willing to incorporate them into your Family. Asking for a couple of Months, cool. Asking for a 5 yrs, stupid and unnecessary. I get it, Carrie hurt Aiden's feelings. But he did not wait for her, he moved on. She only threw a burger at Big's wall when he said he's moving to Paris. He did that to Carrie a lot, they were a couple but he didn't always consider telling her until the day or two before he already had plans to leave. It's been so long, though. I don't remember her throwing food at walls after that. Lol

I agree you have to be there for your children. But there is also a time where your children need to learn to take responsibility and not constantly have a clean up service. If he wants to do it, that’s absolutely fair enough but it is selfish to ask someone to wait around. Let them go and do you!

Nope Carrie should call it off. I agree a man should be a father. So call it off and let the man go and be a father. At her stage in life she cannot play the waiting game. I know people who would still marry their partner regardless and make the situation work. Whether it’s driving taking turns or slowly introducing the kids to their partner over time. Aidan having a failed engagement and property issues with Carrie in the past would make him hesitant for marriage. And teenagers aren’t easy to deal with however they are people with means and resources. I suspect that Aidan’s kids will hate Carrie and make her life hell.
It's helpful (to my ego lol) to see how drastically these actors have aged like I have all these years later... and extra helpful knowing they have all the money in the world for plastic surgeries and nips and tucks and anti-aging remedies and treatments and serums and yadda yadda... yet we all show our age. My number rule back in my dating years was to. Never even think of dating a man with children.

Not one bit of this makes sense. Aiden is silly. There is nothing wrong with prioritzing your Children. However, it is wrong to hold someone else hostage if you are not willing to incorporate them into your Family. Asking for a couple of Months, cool. Asking for a 5 yrs, stupid and unnecessary. Nope Carrie should call it off. I agree a man should be a father. So call it off and let the man go and be a father. At her stage in life she cannot play the waiting game. I know people who would still marry their partner regardless and make the situation work. Whether it’s driving taking turns or slowly introducing the kids to their partner over time. Aidan having a failed engagement and property issues with Carrie in the past would make him hesitant for marriage. And teenagers aren’t easy to deal with however they are people with means and resources. I suspect that Aidan’s kids will hate Carrie and make her life hell.
It's helpful (to my ego lol) to see how drastically these actors have aged like I have all these years later... and extra helpful knowing they have all the money in the world for plastic surgeries and nips and tucks and anti-aging remedies and treatments and serums and yadda yadda... yet we all show our age.
