Sunex has a set that has the metric, SAE, ratchet, and comes in a foam tray for around $60. I wasn’t sure if they were bigger than the Astro, but your video is exactly what I was looking for. Gonna get those Sunex in the next few weeks hopefully.
@@drew5992 I ended up going Astro. Got the 3/8 and 1/2 drive in metric. Probably gonna get the SAE soon. They’ve done well and I like them quite a bit.
Cool. I just got the Astro metric long set (6-24mm, no skips)...very nice. Paired up an m12 stubby impact, ratchet and Tekton extra long handle flex head ratcheting wrench (17 x 19mm), it will do work..
I just ordered the Astro 3/8" set, 6mm-24mm for a job I am doing @ $57. Also bought the Capri 1/2" set, 10mm - 24mm @ $39. I really could have used these the other day when working on thisCummins ISX motor. More than a few 24mm nuts and bolts on these motors, along with tight spaces. Sunex, unfortunately did not come up in my search, I have quite a few of their pieces and have been more than happy with their products. And I have to agree, these nano sockets look like they come off the same line.
I'm liking the tripod! You interested in doing tool destruction? I'd love some of that stuff and I know others will too. The thing is, Clientgraphics uploads so scarcely that we end up missing some tool violence. Just an idea.
Thank you. I think it would be cool to do tool destruction or any destruction. Lol I just don't know how I would go about that for sure. Most the tools I own I really like. Lol. Thank you for watching and taking the time to comment. Hope you have a wonderful weekend.
It very well could be. Many manufacturers will just re lable or run a different stamp for different customers. Thank you for watching and taking the time to comment. I greatly appreciate it.
Ya tool trucks have their place but man sometimes the cost is just to much. Thank you for watching and taking the time to comment. I greatly appreciate it.
Where did you get that drive adapter? I see it in your other socket rail for the nano impact socket? I have the Astro nano socket wrench and I want to put regular sockets on it
Its all the same. Olsa makes both those in the same factory including the quinn. They look the same cause they are the same just with different engravings. The more you know bud.
Ya it is so hard to keep up on all these places. I wish they had to keep things more open. Just like amazon does not have a Made in the USA filter. I hope more in the know will happen. Thank you for sharing your knowledge. it is appreciated.

Awesome thank you for watching. A set would be great. And 60 with a ratchet is a fair price. I wonder how good the ratchet is.
I had sunex but to me they feel like they will crack under good pressure so I sold them. Now I have the astros and they hold up well

Bummer I just bought the Astros lol! Could’ve saved a few bucks!😂

I wish you checked and compared the weight. That would confirm it 100%

I just bought the Quinn 1/2" but debating on the husky 3/8" for a do it myself work which of the two would you recommend fro a DAY not a pro
@@Balla1309ableIf the Husky get the job done, nothing wrong with purchasing them. I bet they are the same as the Astro, they look darn near identical
They're adorable and I like the performance both of them and they are Nano sockets I can use a ratchet wrench with them
Mine are still holding up well but I don't use them everyday either. Thank you for watching and taking the time to comment.
I think Cal-Hawk, Astro, Sunex, and Husky all sourced from the same company if anyone is looking for the best deal
Great info. Thank you for sharing. I also greatly appreciate you taking the time to watch and comment. Have a wonderful day!

I'm picturing these on my dcf901 tearing a whole car down lol
I have definitely gotten some great use out of my set. They have paid for themselves 10 times over.
Excuse the auto spell I said affordable
I can not spell myself. That took two tries with spell check. LOL Thank you for watching and commenting.
How have they held up when using with impact tools? I ask as the reviews on Amazon seem to be mixed. Thanks for your videos!!!
They have been holding up pretty good. I can see some wear but not out of what I would say is normal.
I’ve been beating the piss outta mine for well over a year with a snap on 3/8 impact and they’ve held up fine with 6 day a week use
Also seems like the same from husky

Way more economical than Snap-on and the Mac Tool Guy sales both brands

These are now also sold as Husky in Home Depot lol,
I got both companies but I wonder if there was manufactured in the same plant
I am guessing so myself. They look and feel identical. Both still holding up will for my usage.

Huskey has the same set also same manufacturer?
I saw those too, they look identical.
@@michaelwright1602 I have both no doubt are being made in the same place but who knows what metal is in each
@@WHATDATTOOLDO True, see it in auto parts manufacturing... Ford and GM go cheap, Toyota and Honda top tier.
they are the same it's called MADE IN CHINA and rebranded it UNDER 5000 different names
