Botswana Safari - July 2023 - 4K

Eight days on safari in Botswana spent at Savute Under Canvas in Chobe National Park followed by time with Kwando Safaris in Lagoon Camp and Splash Camp. Wonderful hospitality at all of our camps and never-ending animal sightings (elephants, lions, leopards, cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, buffalo, hippos, hyenas, steenbok, crocodiles, baboons, jackals, sivets, impala, vultures, mongoose, ostrich, wildebeest, storks, hornbill, warthogs, kudu, and more including my new favorite animal - wild dogs!)

I'd recommend bringing a lot of layers! It's quite cold when the sun is down (you wake up before sunrise to start your safari and the evening safari runs until after sunset). Then once the sun is out, it gets quite warm, so you'll want to be able to remove all of those layers. Roughly 40F/6C at night and 80F/25C during the day.

Thanks! We were there for eight nights and visited three spots - Chobe National Park plus two private concessions (Splash camp + Lagoon camp)
