About the Ultra C music video, I genuinely do agree with you and wholeheartedly believe it should have a disclaimer, no doubt about that. I also completely agree with your decision to not play it, I would’ve done the same thing if this was a video I made. However, I do not agree with the blame you put on the voters. I get your point, but you’re supposed to vote for the mvs you like the most, that’s the point of a ranking video. Explaining why you didn’t include the 2dmv is one thing, but it’s another to shame the people who liked the mv enough to vote it because there are people out there who can’t watch it, it’s like getting angry at someone for ordering fish at a restaurant because some people are allergic. The blame is entirely on the Sekai channel for not having a warning.

I gotta say how I love how the worst covers list looks pretty much the same, and Mizuki always sweeps Favorite Vocalist and Favorite Character, year after year after year. No wonder because Mizuki is very well-written and Hinata Sato is very talented! I was also one of many people who voted on Heat Abnormal, it made my top 20 songs and Colorful Palette had gone all out in the 3DMV, especially the solar eclipse scene. Also Regulus singlehandedly reignited the entire Leo/need fandom and probably caused Ichika to actually place in Favorite Vocalist. I was one of those people though I've been voting for her every single year I've participated. It's a great song, I agree that it's L/n's best and should be shown to pretty much every new PJSK fan to give them a sense of L/n's power. Can't wait for next year's survey -- it's gonna be even better than the last! (This is coming from someone who's been doing these surveys since 2022, the 2nd anniversary survey. Where did the time go?)
I feel so bad for L/n, three songs in the overall top 50 ranking… I got my Wondershow comeuppance from last time though, yay. Honestly, even though it wasn’t the set of covers I expected, I’m happy that the April Fool’s covers this year got some spotlight (I would’ve personally gone for Setsuna Trip and Rokuchounen). And of course, Shoujo Rei covers still dominate. As for the VS cover ranking, the alts were pretty predictable this year. I’m surprised I’m Mine is only #15 for the VS songs thing, but I’m happy that Twilight Melody got pretty high as well, and obviously Mesmerizer was going to win. The appreciation for Help Me Erin is appreciated! MV time. I’m not surprised at the 3DMVs in the top 10, but I’m quite surprised that Seibai ItaAAAAAsu and Living Millenium weren’t in the top 5, at least one of them over IDSMILE. Of course Heat Abnormal was going to win, it practically broke the fandom. I really dislike the 2DMV voting because I really don’t think people are voting based off of the MV, especially with songs like Ultra C (I didn’t find the 2DMV particularly impressive or meaningful and obviously it was quite dangerous because of the lack of epilepsy warning), but this year had a fine batch. I’m glad Darling Dance and NEO managed to hold onto their spots, but I feel like CPDB and even Mr. Showtime should’ve been a little lower. And Bad Apple was a great MV, it deserves high on this list. This is, I think, the first year that Ichika placed on the list! Congrats on pushing out Shiho as now the sole L/n representative. I think I actually voted for everyone on the vocalist list except maybe Mizuki 😅
Yeah this is Ichika's first year placing in the Top 5! Going from not placing ever to getting 2nd is a huge achievement for her imo. I'm a big busy atm so I can't respond to every aspect, but I want to say I love thoughtful comments like this.

Imo, none of the singers sound good. Kaito's tuning is bad(and this is coming from a Kaito stan, mind you) and both Toya and Akito just sound like they're yelling.

I don't think it's really fair to put blame on the voters for this issue. They were told to pick what they liked, and they did. I'm sure people voted for the MV because they genuinely appreciated the artistic design and not just so that they can torture people with epilepsy. My ULTRA C comments might come across as more blame-y than I wanted them to. It came from a place of frustration at SEGA/ColoPale that got somewhat misdirected. I was also one of many people who voted on Heat Abnormal, it made my top 20 songs and Colorful Palette had gone all out in the 3DMV, especially the solar eclipse scene. Also Regulus singlehandedly reignited the entire Leo/need fandom and probably caused Ichika to actually place in Favorite Vocalist. I was one of those people though I've been voting for her every single year I've participated. It's a great song, I agree that it's L/n's best and should be shown to pretty much every new PJSK fan to give them a sense of L/n's power. Can't wait for next year's survey -- it's gonna be even better than the last! (This is coming from someone who's been doing these surveys since 2022, the 2nd anniversary survey. Where did the time go?)
I feel so bad for L/n, three songs in the overall top 50 ranking… I got my Wondershow comeuppance from last time though, yay. Honestly, even though it wasn’t the set of covers I expected, I’m happy that the April Fool’s covers this year got some spotlight (I would’ve personally gone for Setsuna Trip and Rokuchounen). And of course, Shoujo Rei covers still dominate.
As for the VS cover ranking, the alts were pretty predictable this year. I’m surprised I’m Mine is only #15 for the VS songs thing, but I’m happy that Twilight Melody got pretty high as well, and obviously Mesmerizer was going to win. The appreciation for Help Me Erin is appreciated!
MV time. I’m not surprised at the 3DMVs in the top 10, but I’m quite surprised that Seibai ItaAAAAAsu and Living Millenium weren’t in the top 5, at least one of them over IDSMILE. Of course Heat Abnormal was going to win, it practically broke the fandom. I really dislike the 2DMV voting because I really don’t think people are voting based off of the MV, especially with songs like Ultra C (I didn’t find the 2DMV particularly impressive or meaningful and obviously it was quite dangerous because of the lack of epilepsy warning), but this year had a fine batch. I’m glad Darling Dance and NEO managed to hold onto their spots, but I feel like CPDB and even Mr. Showtime should’ve been a little lower. And Bad Apple was a great MV, it deserves high on this list.
This is, I think, the first year that Ichika placed on the list! Congrats on pushing out Shiho as now the sole L/n representative. I think I actually voted for everyone on the vocalist list except maybe Mizuki 😅
Yeah this is Ichika's first year placing in the Top 5! Going from not placing ever to getting 2nd is a huge achievement for her imo.

Imo, none of the singers sound good. Kaito's tuning is bad(and this is coming from a Kaito stan, mind you) and both Toya and Akito just sound like they're yelling.

I don't think it's really fair to put blame on the voters for this issue. They were told to pick what they liked, and they did. I'm sure people voted for the MV because they genuinely appreciated the artistic design and not just so that they can torture people with epilepsy. Although the lack of a warning is a problem, it shouldn't be at the fault of people who like the MV.
