    Good stuff!!
I am old school, so these were common trucks back yonder.
Mack... the innovators. Air ride cab, diesels with high torque at low rpm, cab n sleeper as 1 piece...
The "Awfulcar"... haha, workhorse... 6:13 rear end... able to crawl and pull a house down.
I had to take a "Vactor" truck, a specialized vacum truck for wet or dry product years ago from East Coast, right on the ocean, out to Wyoming for an oilfield job. 58 mph top end... man that was a L O N G noisey ride!!

The Autocar looks just like what we used in the Air Force in the 80's 90's.

Fine Job Buddy. Yeah, you had the camera in a good spot. I was able to see you shift those horse shoe
patterns. I drove a lot of different trucks and transmissions but never did get to shift that one. It looked
like an easier way to run through the gears better. Happy New Year to You & Yours Buddy!

You just gotta enjoy the looks of the old iron, I always did like the shape and curves of the old R model Mack, kinda enticing, like a curvy woman, but less cranky.😛 The Autocar is distinctive too, screams “ can we go to work now, I’m bored”. Good to see some of the ‘ole iron still survives. Happy new year from foggy Newfoundland, and good driving by the way.

Final drive on the A car would be 4.81 cause the A car is.78 in 8th gear were as the Mack is 1 to 1 direct drive and a final drive of 3.87, big difference in running speed 😉

20 years ago I ran an early 80's International tri-axle dump truck that had that "horseshoe" styled pattern. I wasn't a fan of it.
    Good camera position/angle.

Happy new year you did a very good job driving the old AutoCar I drove a variety of trucks over the years that had that square shift pattern instead of the more familiar X pattern nothing to it it just takes a few miles to get use too the only thing that use to ruffle my feathers is when some idiot would remove the shift pattern plaque or label then it took me a half a day sometimes to figure out the pattern or if it was a 9 or 10 spd or if it was A 6 or 7 spd like Consolidated Freightways use to have in those old White Freight Liner Cab overs the 7 spd was not too bad but those old 6 spd took some patience & practice very quirky gear pattern never sure what gear you were really in but once I mastered that old girl it was kind of fun I empressed the safety manager one day I was already there about 2 months and he grabbed me one day he said my records indicate you have not been road tested by me yet so I said ok I’m ready we only went about 4 miles he said that is some good shifting skills you have how long you been trucking about 2 years I said he said well I have some guys here for 20 years that are horrible at these kind of trucks he said keep up the good driving habits
