This boat looked cool in the tour and looks even better at sea. Great video Hugo and an immensely fun looking machine!
Glad you enjoyed it. It’s a cool machine
People seem to be believe that carbon fiber is a precious metal. Carbon is literally one of the most abundant elements in the universe.
Yes, but the COST to make carbon fibre is very high so finding a business case for it is what makes it 'precious'. This boat would cost considerably less without using it and would not reach the same speeds either.
Many years ago a friend of mine bought a new Sunseeker. Back in the day when they did small ones, sub 30 feet. He ordered petrol engines. As a sailor, I said don't be a fool, red diesel is the way to go. He lived near Dartmouth and as we filled up multiple jerry cans of petrol at the local garage I did say that I told you so.
😂❤loving this video…..passion for yachts! …you cannot fake this fun he had😂🗽🗽🍾🍾🤙
Other manufactures should take a design lesson from this brand in designing their interior cabin. This is absolutely stunning. Large windows with lots of natural light are a great first impression, but their use of shapes and colours is incredible; it took me a minute to recognize all the ‘overhead’ black cabinets because they are not what the eye falls to and a secondary feature of the space.
Furthermore, the simplicity yet functionality of the main deck are nothing short of stunning. The same primary / secondary themes are present here. Your eye falls to the shape, seating, and lines of the space where inset cupboards and auxiliary features are secondary. And it’s obvious the benefit of carbon fibre as a construction material on the elegant thinness around the entry way into the interior cabin.
My only criticism is the helm. The offset displays are odd and the steering wheel feels unnecessarily far away from the skipper, but perhaps the ergonomics are not as poor as they appear on video.
Wow! I love it. Very kind (an intelligent) firm that let you drive it.
Too true. You need to drive it to appreciate it
Good for water skiing?
Beautiful boat with lovely lines but not sure who it's for. Not the family person nor the day user who would bring guests, they would get something with a better kitchen, folding sides, tanning beds up front and seating area in the cabin.
Lekker man lekker 🇿🇦
