    Im in Oz and I've ended up doing the same thing, get a custom boat built from someone with a great reputation. Low CoG, weight aft and get rid of anything you don't need for fishing. Mine's a little smaller though @ 20 foot 😅 Anthony is inspirational, a professional in his field but has the fishing bug and constantly improves every time he goes out. I'm doing my best but I will never be at his level - he is very impressive.

    As a 7th generation coastal north Carolinian, It's always refreshing how the WORLD of those who can afford them, ALWAYS pick a custom Carolina boat for their needs. It's simple. They're the best of the best. Good choice guys.

    Fantastic I was waiting for a purpose built sport fisher to come along to stick on the Damen… I was thinking Boston Whaler 420 Outrage… now I think I’ve found the perfect marriage. You have actually inspired me to completely rethink how I go about achieving my own fishing goals

    It's like Michael Jordan with his sneakers and trademark, the best bring the best to elevate the game even more. That 50 looks so elegant and badass at the same time and has the best of all the best lines and designs in sportfishing history. LFG 🔥🔥🤙🤙

    Pretty much building a sexy, fast, simple downeast boat in a sport boat hull. Amazing idea and should be a game changer in the industry. There has been too much crossover integration in boats these days. Simple is best.

    I’d do 2 cranes to lift the new 50 configured to fit on the 175 mother ship. If the cranes articulated on a car track they could in theory be smaller boomed and store better when not in use.

    Love the concept. Why not put the head at entry point just inside of saloon or add a second small head there and leave a full head in the bow?

    Game Boat's gonna need a Bad Co edition custom set of marlin rods from the Fisherman's Center

  • @matthewmelton2361
    @matthewmelton2361 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    You know if the bow rail was an issue- you could build a recessed track into the bow deck and build a fighting belt with a d-ring on the back and have a safety line or tether that was on ball bearings to slide up and down the track and keep you on the front if it ever became an issue- just a thought

    And also order a similar boat ?

    Beautiful boat guys ! Best of luck and can't wait to see the videos of you guys slaying those big beasts..... Not that it matters but in my eyes that 50' kinda looks like an Ocean yacht and a Buddy Davis had a late night fling and the BADCO 50 was born....

    Love the boat idea. Is there anyway your fans can possibly put in some design ideas/input ? I have homemade bare bones 38ft convertible day boat based in Mombasa, Kenya with extra large bridge space. I’m super proud the ergonomics of everything for fishing in choppy seas and would love to share some of the ideas with you guys.

    On a very positive note kindly, why don't you innovate on the external look and feel of the badco 50 NOT TO BE and "exact external replica" of a viking yachts... My 2 cents of a suggestion, just to have your own, unique, be-spoke design feel that's a signature for you

    • @TeamBadCo
      @TeamBadCo ปีที่แล้ว

      Vikings leads the industry in many categories and is a great production boat. But If you think this custom 50 looks like a Viking yacht? They are about as different as black and white, if you do not see that contrast, this is not a productive discussion.

    • @MohdSAlShareef
      @MohdSAlShareef ปีที่แล้ว

      @@TeamBadCo thanks for the reply. I was trying to be as much courteous as possible by offering a very "positive and constructive observation". It was by no means intended to offend or undermine your work and efforts. I still do insist on any reader of this comment to simply type in Google "viking yachts 50" in the images section. The first 20 pics from the search result has at least 15 viking yacht boats that look 90-95% as a replica (externally and I RE-emphasis the outer look and feel of the boat) as that of the Badco 50 you are custom building.
      All I wish to convey is with such a unique, one-off and purpose built like no other hardcore marlin chaser boat that you're building to perfection is that you do spend the extra buck and go down the further extra mile to stand out with a Wow! factor of a unique look-n-feel. Just makes your design more unique to you, a fingerprint, aesthetically speaking and it shall stand out much more. You're at the very initial stages of construction and I'd highly recommend highly specialized boat design houses in Greece or Italy to provide you with a custom-made 3D rendering of the externals

    • @Deepimpactocean
      @Deepimpactocean 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      To a novice, the initial renderings might have hints of a viking, but then again the renderings have a resemblance to 5 or more other sportfish brands. I doubt the finished vessel will look anything like an exact replica of any branded boat. Cant wait to see it get fished hard!

    Have always thought the helm should have a door on the side where you could get inside of it to access the controls etc. With one central chase with enough diameter to add plenty of wires for electronics etc. Reaching your arm thru a beverage holder hole sucks and the glass tears your arm up plus you can't see anything. Has to be a better way

    I'd think something like a Freeman would be more beneficial than an older style sport fisherman. Unless I'm missing something.

    Why don't you build it commercial grade instead of worrying about making it with the composite and all that Make it so it's commercial grade as a commercial boat instead of a recreational boat and then as it being a commercial vessel you don't need all that fancy b******* that's in them That's what I have seen that you get rid of all the problems all your wiring problems when you go commercial grade You don't have all that problem and you make the vessel fisherman friendly easy accessible for everything from your wiring to your on and offs to your pumps accessibility is the key so that way you can get in out fix switch something out if you need to have backup that's already in place and all you have to do is hit a lever and the backup is working look friend of mine has does sportfish and his vessel is exactly that what you're looking at and it's commercial grade for chartering and he's out of the keys and he's up in Maryland also have it so that it's ice grade because I've done a drawing and prototype for that and I have a company down in Louisiana that deals with Coast guard vessels and they sat down with me and we came up with one as well but it is commercial grade
