I have noticed misting more than usual after replacing the cowl. Is the cowl not to be glued or something? Because the original one used to stick very close to the windshield.

having trouble putting a cowl on the 2014 ford explorer xlt on the corner it wont snap in why
Hello I dont think the corners have a snap clip. make sure that all the main clips are pushed in. On the ends make sure the weather strip is over the cowl. Hope it helps. thank you
I am telling our Ford dealer they need to replace ours for free because of the NHTSA investigation into this.

Let us know if it works. The (currently open) NHTSA investigation is specifically to address concerns that some of these cowls are breaking loose at highway speeds and hitting drivers following behind. I highly doubt it will address the poor quality of the flaky rubber they use at the windshield interface. These cowls are absolute trash. Same problem on my 2013 and 10 years later seeing zero design change from Ford. Smh.

Hello Amazon doesnt have it listed any longer but here is the part number. bb5z78022a68-aa you might have to buy it at dealer locally or just put the part number online and sometimes you will find it at a good price but shipping can be pricy. thank you
What is the name of the rubber part that is attached to the panel. Min 9.25

Hello I got mine at the dealer. You can also put the part number online and will give you some options but sometimes shipping is high. Amazon did sell it at a good price but no longer available.
