I was playing Tervygon and got bodied by an Ursula that didn't even touched her Talent or played Cadia Stands, and that match has been haunting me till now She played 2 Faeburn Vanquishers first turn, she went second, so of course those 2 units came in with 2 Shock Troopers (1 from her defense card, and 1 from her duty), that's 4 units for 2 energy, for a total of 10 HP and 8 range damage, defended behind 2 Vanguards that don't have to trade because they can use duty, and that i can't kill with trading Next turn she played a Bullgryn Bone'ead for 3 energy, of course the vanguards that where alive pinged me with their duty and then she traded face I get to finally kill one of the vanguards, the BB is still a problem, everyone else is healthy and nothing i can play for 4 energy can kill that thing, and anything that i play for 4 energy will die to blast + her warlord, but "luckily" i had one Genestealer in hand, so next turn i say to myself i can at least clear the BB and try to move towards the other ST... it is turn 3 and she plays a Cadian Medic and a Rattling, she clears the boards easily, and i eat 17 damage, while she herself healed herself and both vanguards Look at the stats of Bullgryn Bone'ead, and compare him to other 5 energy vanguards, that thing has blast, armor, and comes with 3 4, forcing units to take damage when attacking it and it is a common card, meanwhile everyone else is a 5 5 0 with 2 armor, and a conditional gimmick (remnant, or flank with spirit stones, stun with codex, unless it is Tyrant Guard who doesn't does anything, or Aberrant that only becomes a vanguard unit if he triggers ambush), in fact BB is better than most 6 energy vanguards That card is overturned and it is S tier, to me it screams power-creep, it does pretty much everything for 5 energy, and anti armor is a niche mechanic that is not available to every faction, i see no world in which 1 less armor somehow translates to 4 range attack + blast as compensation, specially for a faction that has core mechanic that allows them to keep deploying more vanguards every turn, either from stratagems, or other units using their duty, it is nonsense the thing doesn't even has to be used as a vanguard unit
I think you guys are undervaluing taurox. It can be a card advantage machine if it hangs out on the table. Ramping into it early with faeburn and full throttle can gum up the board very quickly and grind out your opponents hand.
not sure about ladder, but in draft Taurox is 4 stars in my book: harder to answer immediately, it generates multiple vanguards and protects itself to generate more and more. Really solid draft choice
Their function is slightly different but on the whole I do think there is a bit of power creep in IG vehicles. As BJ has said a few times though, it sets a good standard going forward - end game vehicles should be better than they have been in the past. Hopefully EG will rebalance older factions with this in mind. For one I like playing Wild Host with Eldar for the moments when there is nothing better to do, but I'm sick of drawing the godamn 'Weapons Platform' and the other dogsh*t useless vehicles Eldar have.
@@shadowinversion I agree, my issue is they say that a fire prism can one shot a Monolith, but in game it doesn't work that way, sure it makes sense, but feels dumb
The problem with Cadia Stands isn't Cadia Stands, it's when Ursula goes E2 Hero Power, E3 Cadia Stands, E4 Cadia Stands, E5 Hero Power, Cadia Stands.
Yep they need to change that
Cadia stands stack?
@@mikelipinski7615 you think it dont?
Yeah it will be a good move to not be able to pull Legendary from random cards generator. Same for Magus and the GSC.
@@20yearsoldwithdementiano idea. I only had one cadia stand card lol. Hard to get. Lucky to have one!
thermal weaponry can be put on any troop. vehicles get bonus armour on top.

Yeah tervigon has always struggled with early aggro decks funny enough UM is favoured against it because of this.

Love the tier lists ! And the New to Warpforge series is stellar as well, keep up the good work !
Thank you my friend
Leman Russ Vanquisher is an improved Fire Prism imo
