  • Welcome back! In this episode I was brought this 1978 Chevrolet Caprice. It was swapped by the owner but he just needed things tidied up and some nick nack things done to it that he just didn't have the time for. Well lucky for him, I have the time!

    Those flames shooting are on point. I had a good laugh when you said it was a fuel leak directly under the flames shooting out.

    Run a relay for the fans instead of the power running through the switch a lot safer

      Been running all electric fans I use through just a fusible link and either key on position or a switch. Haven't had any issues yet.

    That car has 79 tailights but the front is a 78.. i would wonder why they would change the tailights since its a 78. Maybe its been wrecked?

      You'll use the main harness wire which is a big red one and the small purple wire running down by the starter

    Is that harness much different from the one you used on the cuda? I ordered the one you use for my f150

    • @krustyclassicsgarage
      @krustyclassicsgarage  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Kind of. It's much longer, has a better loom on it, and each wire is specifically labeled. Also, I noticed that the fuel pump wire is already ran on this harness. Which with the harnesses I typically use I have to wire the fuel pump to the harness relay. This one already has that done and you just connect your fuel pump wire to their fuel pump wire on the harness. If I wasn't so cheap I'd use their harnesses.

      @@krustyclassicsgarage yeah I’m cheap too I have no problem with alittle bit more work running the wire to the relay
