The attention to detail is amazing. I consider myself as a Ford/Lincoln/Mercury enthusiast, but I still have a soft spot for these Caprices, as well as the 1973-1987 G.M. trucks and the Mopars of that vintage. Great video.

Nice! I just fired my 5.3 in my 91 caprice. Long tube open headers 3" when it hit it shook my garage and house. My family thought my car fell on me. I wish u would have painted that engine bay and firewall. Please paint the car some other color but that bright ass blue!

With hydraulics, loved it. I worked out of town a lot, and didn’t get to enjoy it like I wanted to. Wish I still had it. But that 2 door is awesome. Wish I could have found one of those a couple years ago. Keep up the great work sir, looking forward to seeing the next video sir.

I had an idea for that blue box Chevy. You want more chrome to bling bling?? You could install some corvette chrome side pipe exhaust system. You’d have a look n sound nobody else has. That blue box will sound like a blue dragon low growling monster sprayway! Cheapest I found was under $300 at Walmart online. Different styles to choose from.

Why you wait 40 years to tell me I could just paint an alternator? I been riding around all this time with clean engine bays except for the alternators.
You can paint it but they say it's best to take it apart to paint it. I didn't because mines was 18 years old...lol
if you get paint on any of the coils inside itll fuck it up. if you dont take it apart its high risk
Actually the case, stater coils and armature can be painted with no issues. You have to steer clear of the commutator/slip rings setup, the brushes and reg. Obviously steer clear of the bearings as well lol. All the coils are already coated in thick resin/lacquer to insulate them. Having a few extra microns of colour on top won't affect it. You could argue it might retain a few milli-degrees of extra heat but that is nothing in the scheme of things. Xx
@@proffessasvids very wrong about the coils. theyll increase in temperature exponentially. paint them and find out. its the clear coat that destroys it

Nothing cooler than a classic Chevy with LS power! The red and black looks good. As far as the rear end upgrade, you might want to consider an 8.8 from a 90's Explorer. They are limited slip with disc brakes. I am planning to use one for my 67 C10 build..... just a thought. Got one from Pull A Part for a little over 100 bucks. Thanks for sharing and Happy New Year!

I used a inline fuel pump but I'm changing it to intank. Fuel Pump was FI Tech Fuel Injection In-Line p/n 546-0001. Wire harness was Painless Performance p/n 60217 and ac compressor and accessory brackets was LSSimple from lssimple.net from Mr. Wallace. He has a TH-cam channel also called Murphy Wallace

i had an 87 coupe. last year of the two door. loaded up with all the stainless trim like yours here. mine was white with 15x8 deep corvette rally wheels. id drive that car today. id like to ride in yours with that ls im sure it wakes it up a bit compared to the old 305

That's one sick caprice bro! I wanted to mention something that I would do to it if it were mine! You know how the steering well, it's a floater! Well if you swap the front spindles out, which if you do some research, but a 74-81 Camaro, Malibu, it will tighten it right up and make driving that beauty way sweeter!!! Just my two sense! Now on the other hand to get better perfomance I would lower the front but I'm sure others like it sitting high but if you ever want to make it a handling machine, Camaro spindles and springs and that's what's up!! Either way that's a pick ass ride ! Where in from us here in Ohio most all of those are rotted out and gone! Stay doing what you do bro!

Idle in park sounds a bit high but drops once in gear and sounds good there. Start saving for a posi 12 bolt rear end and get some springs in the back and level her out. Looks and sounds great! Can't wait to see what's next. Remembered to sub and hit the bell this time when i found your vids again!
