D0226 was one of two experimental shunters and originally numbered D226 painted in black with an orangy/red stripe across it, ending in a vee on the nose end. The other one D227 got scrapped years ago! The GN & SY brown panniers on the front were off a GWR Pannier tank 0-6-0 and can be seen on the Railway Children movie. Use that brochure, and visit on a steam day, or a steam festival weekend. Loved Haworth since I visited with my school in the 1980s 👍

Hi Kev
Most of these Little Train Stations near me are Closed down Now and just Ticket only
But stay open as the Bigger Stations have passengers still using them.
