2 strokes are gonna vibrate. The 6 gear thing is dumb, but you got used to the power, it doesnt need to go any faster as far as top speed because it was designed for track use where you're never gonna hit top speed anyway. Carbs save weight, and most new small bore 2 strokes are still carbureted to save weight. Small bore 2 strokes will bog on hills. Its the nature of the kind of bike you're riding, not the carb. Kickstart saves weight and is more reliable. EVERY single thing you mentioned is because the bike is a track bike. It wasnt designed to be comfortable on trails and do hills, it was designed to rip around a motocross track where an electric start and fuel injection is just added weight on that little 2 stroke engine.
Change your sprockets, drop 3 on the rear, you’ll love it. Re the hill, downshift more and stay on the pipe, slip the clutch a bit in gnarly stuff. Killer wheelies dude 👍
Everybody wants a kickstart... There's plenty of efi, electric start bikes to choose from if you want one. I'm buying the 112 specifically because of the kickstart and carburetor
dude does not know what he yapping about😂. Blames the carb because he can’t go up a hill. Shift down and feather the clutch and you’ll go😂. Then he says
Upgrade to the smart carb sc2 28mm I run the 36mm on my 250sx trust me so much more fuel economy and never bogs me out. Also you can go up to a larger front sprocket go up two teeth in the front and trust me your first gear will give you more. You don’t need fuel injection get the smart carb it’s even better.
Is this video satire? Because the vibration at high rpm is because it’s a two stroke and if it’s that bad then it’s probably the frame and there are 6 gears you literally put it in 6th and if you didn’t some times my bike doesn’t cycle through the gears while not running and a carburetor on a two stroke is normal only ktm has injected two strokes and they are all big bore 2 strokes and ktm also is the only 2 stroke I know of that has an electric start it’s probably stalling because you’re in too high of a gear and not popping the clutch and that’s also on the big bores
A benefit of having a carburetor is that is a lot easier to tune when getting an aftermarket part for your engine. Without a carb you need to either buy a tuner (not cheap) or have a high end enough bike that you can sync the electronics to your phone.
The reason it vibrates is because you have it absolutely rung out I mean ya you want it at high rpm but you also need to be shifting to keep that meat of power
Personaly ive always liked having a carb and doing my tune manually, but that's just preference. I will say there is no starting method more reliable than a kick start. This bike was meant for motocross. You want all this extra stuff on it, but then it'd be to heavy for its designed purpose. Also, these smaller bikes power vaulves tend to get clogged up, and you will lose a lot of your lowend because of it, which will make it a bit trickyer on trails. You can clean it easy when you do a top end tho
3 benefits of a carb, no feul pumps, no feul injectors,no efi sensors. Nothing to go wrong. If your bike was tuned properly it would only take one kick.
If you hate the gearing then change the sprockets. I mean really, it's a fairly easy mod to do. They can't make a bike that suits everybody so people need to learn to mod their bikes to suit their style of riding. Why you chose a mx bike for trail riding is beyond me but maybe you should choose the right bike for your needs and then mod it to fine tune it.
Bike has 6 gears a i have a 2022 kx112 and it goes from 1-6 not counting neutral as a gear, 2 the bike pulls like a 125 the hills in this video should be getting ate up by that bike
I have nothing against you personally. Congratulation for your channel but there are some criticism you make that need to be adressed... You're being watched by a lot of people (once again, congratulation) and I think some statements you've made need a second tought, or at least a counter-argument. Again, there's nothing personal to you,. just what you say. First, I think you just got spoiled from having a bigger bike man... 112 is very easy to kickstart where 450 suck to kickstart. I don't want kawa to spend unecessary money on a starter and a battery because they will end up charging it to me. same for fuel injection... add a battery to that bike and you will make it heavier and less cheap... They did it that way for a purpose. No bike at this price range has a 100cc to 125cc fuel injected engine with a starter. The size and weight of a battery would make them perform worst and make them less competitive against other bike makers. Period. Plus, those small engines react real well to carburators... I don't see why it would be missing fuel injection seriously... Finally, if you have to kickstart your 2-strokes in the middle of the hill, it means you don't use your clutch enough or at all. The video prove that you're not using it at all (at least, not that I saw)... There's no way you will do hill climbing on a 2-strokes 112cc without proper clutch control. The bike has 7 HP at the crank at full RPM. If you make it push 320 pounds up a hill (170 for the bike and 150 for the guy), physic tells you will need every of your 7 HP. If you let the RPM die, you let your HP die. When your HP reaches zero, you have to kickstart it in the middle of the hill. From what you said, you should stick to 4-strokes (and big if possible), small 2-strokes are just not the same kind of bike and are not meant to be driven like 4-strokes. You won't need that much clutch and won't get smoke and burnt smell like on the top-speed run you did in your other video. Racing 2-strokes engines hate extended top speed runs at full RPM. They burn out... By design... They're made to be light, quick and agile between curves, jumps and hill climbs, so no battery, no starter, nothing fancy, just the strict mechanical minimum . Again I don't think you're stupid or retarded. I just think you focused on things that are irrelevant to this bike. I had other points seriously but I covered the main ones and I've got other things to do. Keep up growing your channel !
You need to learn how to 2 stroke. You gotta keep those revs up. Plus, you wouldn't make it far up that hill even with an electric start if you're starting on an incline.
@@The_Goon3rdo you ever get check for registration or sticker I got a kx250 I wanna ride but not the trace worried about not even making it of the unloading
The vibrations, the kickstarter, the carb, the gearing? Its not the bikes fault for doing poorly on something that isn't what its made to do. If you want something for your riding style, get a four stroke because two strokes arent for you.
Carbureted dirt-bikes are more reliable the computer operated fuel injection and carburetors are easier to work on 2nd electric start is unreliable because you can get stranded from the battery dying
i don't know how long you have been riding but is a 112 not a 250cc even a 250 would struggle going up in 1st you need a head start and go into 2nd or 3rd and go down in gears as you go up if you don't have room to start a bigger get a bigger cc bike it is a motocross bike you are only meant to sit down for comers in motocross if you are doing enduro then get a enduro bike like a ktm 125 not a motocross bike as the 112 if not meant for what you are doing it can but Kawasaki did not design it for that .
i kinda feel u on the carb but e start nh not on a supermini kids 2 stroke bike weneeda save something for the kids not just let them push a button to start a 2 stroke
I have only been riding for a year and I can get my kx112 up a hill like that. You need to learn how to shift and stay in the powerband. Or get 4 stroke.
It’s a two-stroke it’s not the bike is the rider you went up the hill and hit a bump and you slowed down and you were in third gear if you had a 450 and you did that you snap a throttle and it goes right up even if it was carbureted just because it has the power. It’s a 112 and it’s two-stroke not four-stroke.
this video is a joke bro shifted up 6 gears and its boging down cus your probly riding in to high of a gear or you ride at to low of rpms and your carb is shot 2 strokes dont like to be riden at low rpms you should get a 4 stroke you would ride it a lot better
Thats ur riding. Not the carb lol.. Also, I like kickstart more then electric start. Bc electric start weighs more and dies when out on the field. Making it HARD to start. But kick start always works.
Complaining about kick starting a kids bike. It weighs 70kgs. It’s easy to start. If you put a ES would weigh 5kgs. That’s 7% heavier. Try starting a kx500 up a hill. Like I have for last 20 years. Then you won’t complain about logic why 85’s don’t have electric start. Stop complaining. Australia don’t even get the KX112.
