Drone to RC plane midair landing Tiny 2024 (Full flight)

In the midst of San Angelo's fantastic Tiny indoor fly-in event, there is a very large and very special plane, built by @sr71afan, with which I have had the privilege to attempt this maneuver. I cannot overstate how fun this is to practice.

How often are these held? Seems like a great place to get practice with a drone if you're starting out.

Once a year only; it is very expensive.

It's a shame it's only once a year too. There's nothing quite like it for reference flying. (My own term)

In my area they ask a payment for every hour we fly indoor (local gym or at a sportscomplex)(if that is proper English)
