Thanks so much! My son is in Wenatchee, Wa as a wild land fire fighter and having an issue with housing. Thought he would camp, but 110 degrees was a bit hard on the GF and cats. Now that it is in the 90s they will try and camp again. I will pass along your video.

Lived outta my van during my first season. Kinda sucked but it allowed me to get my foot in the door and everyone knows it’s pretty much smooth sailing from there on out. Stayed on BLM land a few mins away from my station(they didn’t want me to overnight in the parking lot)🤘

Another Amish friends son wants to know if he'd be allowed on team only 8th grade schooling (he's 22). Also for religious reasons he doesn't do shots. Is that OK? Oh yeah does he need anything special?

Is it feasible for a single person to have a cat and dog living with them during fire season?

I would say no, unless you have someone on standby that can take care of them for up to 21 days at any given time throughout the summer

Only if the pet is a service animal. Had someone last year with a cat, it was a hassle but finally allowed.
