Yes. But that also shows just how quick bolt was... tyson was beaten by bolt in 2009 and he run 9.71. He also run 9.69 and was still far away from bolts record... bolt record will stand for at least 10 years more.... nowadays they can’t even go 9.70, let alone 9.58. But tyson was great in his prime, the olnly guy who stand some chance against bolt ( but still couldn’t beat him)

Bolt is tops. No one can doubt. His championship gold medals may never be beat. I don’t think even a great starting Tyson Gay could have beat Bolt on his best day. But pound for pound and leg speed Tyson was the best. Though Blake’s second hundred in his 19.26 200 is a marvel in every way.
Mark DeGange I agree somewhat, gay is one of my favorites, but you can’t deny the sweet smooth running style of Asafa Powell, this guy should be the greatest sprinter ever but that mental block he had in Championships since he lost to Tyson, he had the greatest start of all times Tyson wasn’t suppose to beat this guy but once he beat him in 2007 when Powell was the record holder, that’s all she wrote, that completely messed his whole mental equilibrium up he never recovered from that and that’s why he never managed to show up in Championships! He owns the record of most sub 10seconds times ever though that may never be matched for what it’s worth, and 4th fastest 100m of all times.
@@stefanblazevski8864 but tyson has still shocked everyone and lemme tell u that he legitimately pulled of a 44.44 km/per (in his 9.69) but bolt was like 44.64 km/per but thats like 1th hundred of a second and if u seen the race of bolts record,tyson was like at the same speed which is suprising and at the 50m mark he moved up then changed the speed and people already seen that bolt clearly had the advantage due to his start
