i've been working at trying to recreate the sound of the modern mario kart soundtrack (closest to base game 8 ost), and i think this remaster of the main theme for my personal favorite in the series came out even better than i expected.

it’s a dense mix based fully on the instrumentation from the original, though i can see it sounding muddier on worse speakers. be sure to use headphones
