She holds a damn steady line of site
Who would you rather do: her or Freya Allan?
@@cashewnuttel9054 wtf
She going to get scope eye shooting like that haha
Good movie, watched it yesterday and you need to see it in theaters
Phenomenal compositions! A living anime, every shot a wonder!
that was a weirdly cut scene
I get the feeling it's not a complete clip
It's edited and not what the shot looks like in the film at all. We saw it at the Sydney premiere. There's a LOT more during that moment.

The camerawork is really interesting. Nobody uses a camera like George Miller.
He credits Happy Feet for giving him more camera movement. Lol
Wins Best Sound Oscars 2025
wow she has some pretty perfect teeth for the apocalypse...
0:01 That camera movement in the beginning is pure cinematic.
There are many many shots like this. This shows the care of a director
@@MrHealingmonk I'm crying just to hear that.
Plenty of films have those camera movements
@@esdsu name a few?
@@MrHealingmonk The Revenant and 1917 come to my mind. Infact any director famous for long takes tends to use similar camera movements and shots in their movies especially when making something BIG. It is cinematic, yes. But it's not really rare or uncommon to see them in films.
i love the movie. It gives a lot more world-building stuff than Fury Road.
I mm going to watch this soon. Fan on millers work. Hopefully they expand the fury road world with other characters.
Awesome
Mad Max: CGI
0:19 ...she survives this ...not only does she survive the fall or the shell but the bike doesnt land ontop of of her even tho 0:42 she's in the exact position she would be in if the bike did land on her
wow
So the guy with the scopeless RPG was more accurate than the girl with the sniper rifle and scope?
You don't have to be as accurate with an RPG as with a sniper rifle.
@@blt4life112 rpgs are not accurate its why they're used against land vehichles.
RPG aren’t even that powerful unless it’s a direct hit
far too much cgi, its just not realistic or dirty and gritty enough to be a mad max film.
Honestly I don't mind there being lots of cgi as the real issue to me is the physics of the special effects. It just feels wrong and super fake, almost as if the cgi effects are moving at twice the speed as the live actor portions.
I think somethings missing from that scene
That would be mad max!
@@Michael-og8dt no, it's a prequel probably taking place same time as road warrior. I'm thinking more of a scene being cut because how did he know she was there when he shot her with the launcher?
Not sure about the editing in this one, it just cuts to the rocket launcher like that?
Not sure if its the final theatrical cut
It feels more like for the clip online than for the movie
@@MarcoBayod_MB Ah ok. Makes sense.
The edits remind me of the part in the end of fury road when she rips the mask off immortal Joe. Maybe that’s how they’re tying the two movies together. 🤷♂️
Is edited . Maybe she shot to him and missed. And later he cover and see where is she firing to use the bazooka.
Very poor editing here, looks like Furiosa failed to snipe Dementus then he used the rocket launcher
yeah for some reason the clip is abridged. it makes sense the movie.
@@T3H8 I went to see it yesterday and yes it was heavily cut
We already had a Furiosa movie it was called Fury Road, why make another one?
Because sometimes it's about other people and not about you.
But it's about Furiosa when Fury Road was essentially itself a Furiosa film @@blt4life112
This film lacks the visual charm and magic of Fury Road by a wide margin. We are all used to films never living up to the hype trailers. Fury Road had an incredibly exciting and intriguing pre release set of trailers. The film itself not only lived up to but exceeded the excitement generated in those trailers. So much so that I saw the film three times in the first four days of its release so that I could take it all in. I saw the 3D version once(not a fan of that) and the standard version twice(far better). It was an amazing experience.
This newer films trailer excites and interests me not in the least. I wish that was not the case but I am assuming that considering the difficulties in filming Fury Road the decision was made to make and take all the shortcuts that CGI provides. I cant blame George Miller for that but the final product suffers. I will certainly pay to see this film in the theater but primarily out of appreciation to Mr Miller for what he brought us with Fury Road. It is possible I am wrong and will love this one and that would be great but I highly doubt it.
Well for me this film is a very good movie that has an intresting character development and I had no expectations to be as good as Fury Road and I was glady surprised.
This is just Thor Love and Thunder with a coat of mad max paint thrown on it.
Can you be more specific?
@@ChiggidyChuck Yeah it's just Chris Hemsworth playing Chris Hemsworth while he goofs off in the Mad Max universe.
If all you see is Chris it says more about you than the movie.
@@blt4life112 You're a brave person, I really hope Chris sees your comment. 🙃
Fun fact , this movie was supposed to be an anime released before 2010
Seems that George Miller went full George Lucas
If jar jar binks makes a cameo in this I will immediately walk out of the theater.
They both died, the end.
Turning onto a Xbox game now. CGI overload.
🎉❤❤
What is the CGI
No Max wtf? I get its a Furiosa movie but still.
Also, why the sudden change in actors? And the use of CGI even from this small clip makes it look more animation heavy than fury road.
Well first of all this isn't about max so obviously he's not in it and there isn't a "sudden change of actors". Fury road came out almost a decade ago
Terrible indeed
Mad Max is embarrassing now. The insanity of 1, the terror of 2… Fury Road and Furiosa make Thunderdome watchable.
Bullet farm?
Yeah, I have a bad feeling about this movie
Why Miller? Why?
More CGI !
🎉❤💛🧡💯✌🏻
I hope its awesome but i have had doubts since the first trailer
Cgi truck as good as submarine in Lost season 5.
Hate to break it to you, but that truck is real, and the scene of it hitting the tower that people are complaining looks fake was done practically (though the fire was added in post).
I remember when Fury Road came out people were complaining that the flame thrower guitar was fake as hell, but it was an actual flame thrower guitar. No CGI.
@@derkeheath5172The truck's real? In all of the shots? You sure about that? If so then it could be poor cinematography lol
Just watched it and wasn't as great as I thought it would be. Fury Road is way better.
Guy is just missing a hammer.. they didn't even bother
Hemsworth looks like a recycled Stewart Granger.
or John Travolta
So it's a comedy?
this has nothing to do with Mad Max
Yes, and the box office is showing that may be a problem...
Fun facts: There are 3 Indiana Jones films, 3 Star Wars films and 3 Mad Max films 😊.
I liked Fury Road, is it the one from 79 or 81 that is quite bad?
@@ComputerBladet You already named the bad one.
As soon as I saw the cgi vehicle I was out.
i think the War Rig is a real truck, interacting with CGI
Damn, some scenes look like from Starcraft 1. Terrible colors and lights.
You're insulting Starcraft, it might have dated 3d models in the cutscenes, but the cinematography and atmosphere are still top notch.
best movie of 2023 and 2024 so far mb dune can hold up
Looks bad. In the opening scene, the motorcycle is set up on obviously placed rocks. Clearly not directed by George Miller.
Damn the cgi is videogamey. I still dont know how this slop got 10/10 reviews
its about the rage and emotion. CGI is like a side dish i dont know why west audience are obsessed with CGI more than story telling
@@wishvakrish3583 Mad Max has always been about minimal storytelling and impressive visuals. Furiosa does the opposite that creates a contrast compared to the previous Mad Max movies
Anya Taylor Joy is not Charlize ... how they can sell that to us.. I don't care what happend before Mad Max
WOKIOSA: Mary Sue Saga
😵💫😵💫One more stupid unrealistic CGI movie.I was expecting new one to be as realistic as Mad max 2015....
They're going to use alot of CGI for vehicular stunts on this aren't they.
Yeah. I think making the truck completely chrome might have been a mistake.
If you mean like they used in "Fury Road", yes. Tons of CGI in that.
@@redadamearth but not the vehicular stunts, only the scene for the Tornado obviously
@@EXMachina. You're braindead if you don't think Fury Road used tons of CGI for all of its scenes.
The shot of the truck knocking the tower over was done practically - that's a real truck knocking over a real brick tower.
Sooo much CGI. Nooooooooo
The cgi looks bad. The arm looks REALLY bad in the trailer. The wide eyed looks on everyone looks bad. The camera work 🤌. Fat Thor in a madax movie... We will see how that plays out.
опять бред про сильную и независимую? странно что она не черная лесбиянка😆 или........?🤣
Dont like the overuse of green screen and how tf did she survive that rocket 💀
Watch the movie. The clip is missing stuff which you can see in the movie. I don’t know why it’s edited it this way here.
This is gunna worse than they thought.
Cartoon movie
Hmm CGI is quite poor
Why does Miller keep repeating the same shots. Mel coming out of the sand, hardy coming out of the sand and now furiosa coming out of the sand.and from other clips I've seen a lot of other shots done again. Bike under truck as an example.
Road Warrior repeated shots from Mad Max. He's been doing this for ages - it's the style of the series.
@derkeheath5172 I noticed. I feel I'm watching the same film just redone
This looks dreadful. I mean I'll see it and all , maybe even like it, but it just seems like a video game cut scene
TERRIBLE
МУРА
Looks like cgi $hit....
The CGI is really concerning. CGI war baby....yikes.
Fury Road had 2400 VFX shots. So it's not like the CGI in Furiosa is concerning (it's not really). But what's really happening is that the marketing team's blatant lie of "Fury Road was made without the use of CGI" from years ago is finally coming back to bite them.
Okay, stop bitching about the damn CGI. Who cares if it's bad. All I care is if the movie has a good story and from the looks of it it looks fire.
I love it , i love cgi action its so unreal but storyboards are just perfect
Well maybe it has smaller budget than Fury Road to avoid failure but the cgi is not really bad at all
This is all just in your head. Stop letting internet-bullshit give you internal biases. You're being manipulated.
I have to admit this is weird to not have Max in this. Looks good overall but wow so strange to me
In fact in Fury Road, Max spent the first 40 minutes as a prisoner, bound and gagged, he was quite missing in those minutes and in that first part, Furiosa was the protagonist when he escaped with his truck and Furiosa's protagonism in those first 40 minutes was not bad at all.
@@javix2013 I agree I actually felt like the mystery surrounding Max being silent made his character great. There’s so much going on inside the character that intrigues me
I hope the cgi will be better
Wow. Another cheap sequel with bullcrap CGI and an even cheaper storyline?
Thx Hollywood, im keeping my cash.
Miller? CGI? Wtf dude
He's getting older he probably can't do practical effects like how he used to :(
Go do better then
Have you been living under a rock? Fury Road had just as much CGI.
@@user-vi3wm8is5h that's what is confusing me. It's like all these people didn't watch the same movie or any of the behind the scenes. Nearly every shot of fury road had CGI.
@@mr.mittens9123miller confirmed every shot does at one point
Same thing over and over. Run around in the Australian outback and get nowhere.
indian CGI farms - you get what you pay for!
wtf are you talking about. DNEG did CGI for films like Dune...
@@Mike_v_E "DNEG is a global company with studios in London, Vancouver, Mumbai, Los Angeles, Chennai, Montréal, Mohali, Bangalore, Toronto and Sydney."
As I said: Indian CGI farms
Yeah this definitely is gonna flop
Too much CGI and AI generated frames.
"AI generated frames" What are you waffling about? That stuff wasn't even being used in the film industry during the post production of this film.
@@Derg2003 How do you know that?!? You worked to this movie?
@@virgiliustancu9293 I’m part of the industry and am aware of the development of AI. It hasn’t started getting there yet for properly articulated CGI shots until recently. Even then, additional hands on CGI work is needed to even make AI composition look plausible.
@@Derg2003 Maybe you are right but still I don't like the CGI that looks so fake.
Fury Road was awesome because how little but well done use of CGI, this is just horrible.
She is so incredibly miscast.
CGI 🤢🤢
Over CGI ruining this one compared to fury
That was horrible
The CGI is garbage.
Chris acts like he is in Thor 4, so the movie is trash like Thor 4.
