That J arm is way too long. It will end up bending your garage door. While I agree that you’re updating your garage door opener to one that is more secure, probably should’ve went with a LiftMaster model, 8160

if you look up a smart garage opener you can open or close it by your phone anywhere. the best part is you can even see if you left it open just by the app. or have a reminder after a certain amount of time to close it. like for us after 10:30pm if its open it will close automatic.

I hunt down loud noises and get rid of them. Car is making a weird noise? Fix it. Garage door too loud fix it. Kids being too loud? Can't fix that

The worst brand on the market is Genie…. Get a LiftMaster or Chamberlain people you’ll thank me later.

Just replaced my Genie with a lift master. Genie emergency release kept breaking.

Probably one of the worst motors out the the home depot one. Coming from a non affiliated person. But yes it is quiet when first innstalled

no. he should have greased the screw drive with white lithium grease and it would be super quiet. The screw drives last forever.
