      Thanks mate! Pretty slick little transmitter, would be perfect for us crawlers with proportional control of either ch 3 or 4!

    Very helpfull 👍, for a crawler project I need Ch.3 for the DIG function servo. maybe its possible to install a push button in the handle for thumb use.

      No problem! I think this would work fine for a dig set-up, however with the switches being mounted to the main board may be challenging to modify? Not sure? Thanks for watching!

    I can’t stress enough on transmitters, get a good one!!! Get a good radiolink, not only added vehicles with 30, but the dialing in to tune the rc from a rock crawler to drag, to bash, and keep the setting to the vehicle with one button!!!!!!!! Can’t beat a radio link for the price of cheap Rc car! 100$ usd

      I agree a good transmitter Is a great investment, over the years I've owned all the good stuff JR, Spektrum, Futaba. I've owned lots of high end transmitters over the years. These are cheap, throw them in your backpack, let the kids use them it's all good. These get the job done nicely!

    I have a few 1/76 turbo racing cars and was looking at upgrading to this controller.
    Also run VRC Pro on PC and this would be a good option for that as well I'd imagine.

    • @havikhobbies
      @havikhobbies  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Definitely would be a great upgrade option for their 1/76 cars! How does the transmitter interface with the computer? I've only used RC transmitters for rc flight simulation where it's connected by a cord.

      @@havikhobbies there is an official VRC Pro USB adaptor that you can buy (sorta expensive) or you can make your own with some basic skills.
      Not sure exactly how it works, but the adaptor has a USB on one end and plugs for your receiver on the other. It allows your receiver to plug into the USB port of your PC.
      There are lots of TH-cam videos if you search for how to make a VRC Pro USB adaptor, and you do find a few homemade ones for sale online 👍

      Ah well that makes sense! That's actually pretty cool.

    Channel 4 would be great for the 3 speed transmission on the Tamiya semis.

      I can see that, there's a lot of potential for these cheap little transmitters!

    The p52 has a physical switch for ch 4 too

      That's pretty cool, I would love a thumb dial like the four wheel steer Furitek version! I know that's a stretch though 😂

    Size wise, it looks like u have another transmitter that is smaller than the orange one (labeled FMS). Is it really smaller? I am looking for something that will fit my kid’s hands

    • @havikhobbies
      @havikhobbies  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      The one labeled FMS comes with the RTR FCX24 and FCX18. It's a compact transmitter but I don't think it's necessarily much smaller than the Turbo Racing P32. I think either option would work for a kid.

    So is that the best budget option if I want to have more than one cars hooked and have throttle limit control...?

    • @havikhobbies
      @havikhobbies  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I think these little P32 Transmitter are s great option because of the low cost and availability of relatively cheap recievers. They have all the common adjustments like end points and Exponential that you would expect from a far more expensive radio. You could certainly limit the throttle with end points or tune the throttle response/feel with exponential. I have two of these and I like them a lot. The Flysky Gt5 is also worth taking a look at, it's a lot of radio for the money and recievers are inexpensive!

    what is the transmission protocol of this turbo?

    • @havikhobbies
      @havikhobbies  ปีที่แล้ว

      2.4 ghz. Not sure about frequency allocation though?

  • @timmerz8569

    Pull it apart and cut the led light out it doubles battery life

    good response?

    • @havikhobbies
      @havikhobbies  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I've only really used it for crawlers, I haven't noticed any latency but that might be a different story on a high speed vehicle! I probably wouldn't use it for speed runs or anything where safety could be a concern.

    Great review brother !
    thank u.
    I own radiolink & tx4 Transmitters, and i do mostly Drifts with my rc cars.
    Would definitely order one of these as they so cheap and convi.
    Can you save cars mod for different cars - in this transmitter? like in radiolink rc4gs

    • @havikhobbies
      @havikhobbies  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes these little transmitters have a 15 model memory! Thanks for hanging out!
