This, Necromunda and Space Hulk Deathwing, absolute top notch, but Deathwing have little to no ambiance and zero music so that’s a big minus.

Yea, the Twins on Damnation is a bit of a sweat. And with pugs, it's an absolute dice roll whether or not you'll survive the finale.
Thank god for the bells at the beginning of the level. Makes the hit to the ego hurt a little less when you have to retry lmao
Did it on my third try. The key to winning is having a Zealot with the relic that they use when you need to cross to the gas-free area so you take no damage from the gas, along with an Ogryn with the nuke grenade to deal with the onslaught of scab ragers and maulers. Having a vet with the shout ability (was it Voice of Command?) and the talent for it that revives people is also good stuff. For the 4th spot, I figure having a dash or backstab Zealot with a hammer for the massive damage wouldn’t be a bad idea.
@@MilanVoorhees my psyker deals 658 damage every 1.5 seconds and can freeze the entire enemy base in front of me with smite . I can use push ability instantly removing 50% quell and after 2 seconds of quell can use 100% again basically giving me 200% of smite . Also quelling restores toughness
I survived alone for awhile vs the twins on damation only surviving by walking backwards and dodging backwards constantly
The fact this game is available to play on Xbox Gamepass is absolutely mental, I love the Warhammer universe and this has got to be one of the best installations in it's lineup.
I've been loving this game since launch. The progression wasn't all there at first, but since the updates, there are so many builds and play styles for each character. I love jumping in and trying a new build/character.
over 700 hours in this game and it's been a blast. The gameplay loop is still addicting and the new updates plus character overhaul were an absolute welcome addition

Haha this build is insane, I love it. Darktide is one of the latest most beautiful, and most fun game I've played in a long time. Without knowing anything about warhammer beforhand. Great video !

The sound design and environments for this game are top-notch.
This is one of the games that I feel does difficulty changes very well. At higher difficulties, it is genuinely difficult without being hugely frustrating. There is no feeling that the same enemies seen at lower difficulties become bullet sponges, there are just additional + more aggressive enemies, quicker enemy spawns, and fewer healing options.
Along with the atmosphere, the music and the visuals, I just love playing this right now. A shame I can't get more of my friends to play it with me.
Glad to see people putting this game out there still. It's had a lot of issues to say the least and desperately needs more content drops, but I still enjoy it.
There is an entire secret difficulty that you unlock with a pattern of easter eggs on this map. Seems right up your alley.

@@chapellbrock7447 There's a series of numbers on a wall in the map, and a corresponding series of bells hidden throughout that you have to hit with a melee weapon the correct number of times. Do that before going down the elevator to the final boss battle and you'll get a slightly harder fight.

Bought Darktide a few weeks ago. Propper 40k setting. Probably the best "co-op fight hordes-game" since L4D.

@@justinedevera9647 Definitely this and Helldivers 2. Darktide just needs more content right now such as a new enemy faction (perhaps Genestealers?), new weapons, and perhaps a new class like an acolyte of the Adeptus Mechanicus or something.

Solo play is always available, just load into a mission solo. With the special assignments, usually nobody will join you 😂

how do you play solo with all bots? is this a PC only or new feature? as I didn't think you could on Xbox
Looks awesome! will definitely try it. One thing I don't like is that the corpses are de-spawning quickly, but I guess they did that for the performance reasons.
You can set how many and how long the corpses stay in addition to ragdoll settings in the menu/launcher.
You can change that setting in the menu.
Jack is really good at doing the pogging off.

I love using the ogryn grenade launcher in this game. The projectile can strike someone in the head and they fall over, then the grenade lands on them and explodes.
The combat has a nice feel to it.

If I had an ear for music I would love to make music for games, at one point I definitely wanted to be in a metal band haha. I used to play Vermintide 2 everynight after work, just such a great addictive thing, I wish I had maybe gone to school instead to learn how to be a part of the creative processes for games but I never did; never could afford it anyways. 14 years after highschool though uh so many mistakes and missed opportunities. Considering the amount of games I play the least I could do is have tried to make a career in TH-cam but IO never even did that.
It's super fun in coop with some friends. Great Pick and Play game!

Started playing this game after the Xbox release and it quickly became one of my main games. Have a lot of casual fun with it. I tend to play psyker.

Finally get me a xbox series x this coming Friday since this is on gamepass no doubt it's going to be the 1st game I play. This just like so good sorta reminds me of gears of War hoard mode mixed with the old mass effect mutiplayer already know I'm going to have a blast.

@@BananenbaumEY DRG is fun, but lacks depth compared with DT. (Gameplay is what matters and the majority of things "broken" with DT weren't related to its core gameplay.) GTFO is a very different type of game, and last I played was way more of a boring crawl than DT, but perhaps they've improved that in the year+ since I've played?

take a step back and realize that your "depth" is simply to grind out currency because you want to avoid buying currency so you can use a feature that isnt implemented in the game yet... a year after release.
Fatshark truly fucked up and could have gotten the best 40k title in years out. Instead they rushed development and set priority on ingame shop before your "gameplay". So the title goes to a boomer shooter.

Honestly i played all day yesterday no problem on damnation. Beat this mission and tried the extra hard by ringing bells. But i guess with this update they ramoed up the difficulty. This mornings games were glitching out cuz it was spawning so much. Im on xbox and its wild how much they sent at us today. 😂
I wish this game had more content. More maps, more gear, weapons and customisations, more game mode variations, endless hordes and additional difficulties and more classes :( get a bit tiring with so little content after a while
@@mattraymendez yeah I am looking forward to the one announced with the space marines though I do love dsrktide too, and wanna keep playing that too because it's s great game, just a bit lacking in content and I feel it has a finite playtime while it's potential is unlimited if you get me. Etc if they could update and release more content like Warframe Devs do that would be fantastic

I wonder how much work it would be to release updates with say tyranids/genestealer cult or orks etc would be so fresh. Even just more chaos monstrosities it’s kinda repetitive the hordes are great though
