In Hindu's 5000/7000 years of existance, we faced atrocities for the last 500 years. We thought we had it bad. Jews were facing atrocities for over 2000 years. Palki is a pseudo intellectual though, sadly, trying to put on great journalistic airs, as all these journos do, to think that Jews were kicked out of 109 (or far more) countries for no reason. Not that I am condoning ad hoc disliking Jews at all btw, most are nice and kind people, we must treat all humans as precious especially the great Jewish people, but every person has multiple influences on their psyche which means we can see clearly one day but not another. We can be compartmentalised, as humans, so to speak, which is why a soldier can warmly hug their family one day, then slay a family the next day.

It is not hard to separate religion from culture, since a religion doesn't entirely inform a people, it influences them. Therefore we can easily say that Jews have a good culture whilst performing honest exigesis on their religion and God. A levantine god which has killed countless millions since so many genocides were committed in the name of Yaweh and many brutal ideologies came from communion with Yaweh. Not if you are a journalist or politician though, where talking in a smug manner will have become your modus operandi to override all others.

@@KimuratrappedK I've only met 4 here in Australia, and all 4 were self-absorbed, politically apathetic, generally pathetic humans. One I met was an old man in a homeless refuge I was also at, and he was so miserably afraid of wasting his money that he kept knocking back rental properties because "they were terrible value" (Sydney rental crisis). What a lot of Indians don't realise is that there was a strong Sanatan/Dharmic influence on early European culture (and most likely the influence went in both directions) which means that India is a type of 'sister culture' to Europe. If Germany had ‘won/been declared the winner’ of WWI, the world that we live in would most certainly be different than what we have experienced and are experiencing. The French led the way in beating down Germany and it’s people after that war. Britain was no stranger to inflicting financial, mental and emotional harm, damage and pain to Germany either.

People who support Palestine, they ignore the history as well. The history of Arab revolt leading to end of Ottoman empire at the hands of British, the Arab war declared on the new state of Israel and their defeat in that war (leading to occupation of further land by Israel), the PLO initial agenda that they want the entire land back and extermination of Israel, the resistance and extremism of Hamas.
Solution: Go back to UN demarcation, accept that demarcation and respect that, move the Israeli settlers out of Palestinian land and give them settlement in the state of Israel, Make Jerusalem approachable for both countries, Palestine and Israel.
Does the Bible mention red Indians ? Does the Quran or Talmud mention the red Indians ? Does that mean they didn’t exist and they were early settlers in America ? Ur logic is flawed..

An answer to Firstpost question: Antizionism is antisemitism indeed. Critcizing Israels govt - Israelis do it all the time. But pro-Hamas ("pro-Palestine") "activists" don't understand the difference between the Modern Zionist movement and Zionism in general. Zionism is a theme of Jewish holidays, our daily and sabbath prayers, our declaration of faith Sh'ma Yisrael which is our most important prayer and the one you say when you think youre in danger or about to die, our prayers three times a day all have zionist elements also. I could go on and on. Demonizing the world's only Jewish state with lies is of course antisemitism. That's what the BDS and free Palestine movement are doing right now. Ripping down posters of hostages. Celebrating Hamas. Repeating slogans that would make a supremacist blush. Most Israelis are Zionists and they make up half of the world's Jewish population. 95%+ of Jews in the diaspora are Zionist. Why? Because it is ingrained within Judaism, and that fact doesn't change no matter how much you say "don't conflate the two" it's such a copout answer. So, if you hate Zionists, you hate most of us Jews. Tokenism is racist. Just because you got a few tokens on your side doesn't change reality. Actually the story much before Romans when first temple of Jews was destroyed probably by Babylonian king. The Temple suffered at the hands of Nebuchadrezzar II of Babylonia, who removed the Temple treasures in 604 BCE and 597 BCE and totally destroyed the building in 587/586 BCE. The Second Temple was destroyed in 70 CE during the First Jewish-Roman War when Roman soldiers under the command of Titus broke through the siege of Jerusalem. In order to break the Jewish will to fight, the Temple was thoroughly demolished.
