I never knew there are trams in Tenerife, I definably try them out when I'm Tenerife. Love that harp sound on-board, wish we had that on the Edinburgh Trams.
I'm absolutely flabbergasted that you weren't plagued upon arrival with *_Tenerific Advertisements_* extorting the Carbon Footprint Reductions of travelling by tram.
Great video Riku! Helps out if I ever go to Tenerife! I’ve been to Nice (France) and they also have similar, Alstom Citadis trams but not the Citadis 302
Allover advertising vinyls on vehicles have thousands of small dots which make up the picture, allowing light to pass between them, allowing those inside to be able to see out. More light gets into the saloons of the trams which dont have adverts covering the windows and which carry the standard livery with each section of the tram being a different colour. There are 26 trams in the fleet and they are able to work on either of the 2 lines.
When I was on holiday I explored the local bus Route that stops by the resort I was staying at in Majorca. I'm still working on the video these trams do look amazing I must say I'm now back in the UK if u are wondering and also will u come to the 211s first day back with Transport UK?
Must admit, I never knew Tenerife had a tramway! The mesh you encountered is the dreaded contravision, that allows advertising to cover the whole of the tram. I don't like it either, but it has featured on the Blackpool system, as well as my local West Midlands Metro, plus many buses in the UK, and presumably elsewhere!
The Tren del Sur (Train of the South) is a planned railway line on the island of Tenerife, Canary Islands, linking the capital Santa Cruz de Tenerife with the south of the island via Tenerife South Airport.
Vinyl graphics advertising - looks great from the outside, rubbish from the inside - once had my car used for an event - had to drive the car for a number of days with the graphics on, nightmare in the rain.
cool trams
It would have been great if there would be trams in Gran Canaria!
Love that harp jingle and a nice network as well, great video
4:25 excellent synchronisation of the harpist video and the jingle!
Good tram video, Riku. Those trams look amazing!

it's not a harp it's a timple, the ukulele ancestor, a typical instrument from canary islands.
Great video riku!
Bienvenidos 😁
Also, trams sound like the LUAS in Dublin
We’ve been to Tenerife over 10 times and only today did I find out there’s a tram network! 😮 Great video.

My best friend over here decided to go to Tenerife!! Woah these sights are insane, what a great person you are.

Great video - love the Facts section!
Great video, very informative 👍
This is excellent to know; Tenerife is the last place I'd expect to see a tram. I especially like the four melodic notes before the announcements.
Great job! How much is a day ticket?
Great video as usual. Will you be coming to Poland for the summer break this year?
Great video!
When you said north tenerife it gives me the 1977 klm+panam vibes-
😢
All the buses and trams are FREE to the residents on the island
the dots on the windows are large adverts on the outside of the trams
