Visited Nottingham for the first time the other day - have to say I was really quite taken with the city . . . And being the transit nerd I am, i rode the whole tram network.
Very impressed with it! An excellent way to get around.

Having grown up in Nottingham and now living in London it's surreal and unexpected to see you in my home city. I love it! It truly was a historic day when the long delayed tram service finally opened in the early 2000's. I was about 6 and felt like I'd been waiting forever at that point

I’ve been on these trams before & enjoyed the video. I don’t live in Nottingham but my auntie lives there so I go there a lot

I loved the trams as a student so easy and pretty cheap. I miss Nottingham, great video

It's been about 25 years since I last went to Nottingham and there wasn't a tram system back then. It is great to see Nottingham providing this type of public transport, I hope it is reasonably priced for encourage people to use it instead of using a car.

Geoff, we have a thing in Nottingham, the tram beer trail. Start at Hucknall and get off at every stop between Hucknall and market Square and have a half at the nearest pub to each stop.

There is something really unsettling watching Geoff's videos for years to then watch him walk past my house in this video

Ah, Radford Road tram stop. The memories - jumping off to nip in to the newsagent, which being no where near where I live, I could freely buy a copy of that month's Fiesta from. Then hop on the next tram and home for tea...

Thank you for the video Geoff. I always love your System Races or visting every stop. Your videos made me trying to break the time record on the berlin U Bahn. By the way the trams are really nice lookin ones.

I love the market Square at different seasons as they pack fill it with either a Christmas fair, summer fair etc. I remember once they had a massive wheel there too!

I still find it weird that there's a tram stop and a massive P&R opposite the secondary school [George Spencer] I went to... Toton Lane & Bardills Island certainly has changed a huge amount! Nostalgic feeling from 20 years of living in Toton & spending time in Beeston and Nottingham. Thank you! :)
