Hi, I'm Riku :)
For as long as I can remember, I have been overly enthusiastic about trains and transport in general, and on this channel, I pour out my love for it in videos featuring informative and fun journeys exploring transportation in London and beyond.
In my time on TH-cam, I've interviewed many people who shape the state of trains and buses as we know them, attended station openings, stepped aboard brand-new trains, and found myself in unusual, interesting and unknown territories.
I'm very grateful to every single person who has subscribed to my channel- they drive me to continue making regular videos with heartwarming comments and never-ending support.
I'm also a young author of children's and teens' books, an audiobook narrator, and a co-host of a music project.
My brand-new book, Music to My Ears, is available to order on Amazon in paperback and ebook: amzn.eu/d/dh3tMIz

Grange Hill- The Hainault Loop Ep. 3
#hainaultloop
In the third instalment of "The Hainault Loop", we explore my favourite station on this line- Chigwell. Being the third least used tube station, it's quite peaceful and serene, especially on the summer solstice day that I filmed this video.

A special thanks to @GTransit for being an excellent filming companion while we recorded the video 😀

lETS GOOOO I LOVE LEVEN
I am concerned that Riku was in their school uniform. Why didn’t you wear like a pride badge or something to cover it so that you don’t have to fear about editing in blurring?
Really impressed with your content. Well done. Glad you were not attacked by any lifts! 😊
Didn't knew that you could see the back end of Hainault Depot from Grange Hill Station. Great video!
Never been to Chigwell, have passed it a few times but really does look like a lovely station. Another great video and just having a catch up with the series before I watch Grange Hill. Looking forward to it.
Have been to Roding Valley a few times and is a very nice station. Great video
for some reason this video was a little grainy in places but carry one the great work where you find time plus your schooling is a credit to you *****,
as always briliant video!, what is in your opinion the worst video in quality/footage?
on the high street "Naked Lounge" - was wondering - it a beauty salon
Absolutly amazing video Riku! I absolutely enjoyed Grange Hill, love all of the features of the station, the way that natural nature is a part of the station, I will definitely be trying out the cafe when I next give Grange Hill a visit, seems they have lovely bakery items. The history of the station is definently very very interesting and it’s definently something new that I’ve learnt today, the drone shots just compliment the video so very well and as usual thank you for another amazing watch! Keep up the amazing work Riku, It gets upsetting knowing that every episode that passes is one episode closer to the end of the series :((, loving the work Riku!!!❤
Just a suggestion, but you could maybe wear some kind of pin/badge so you don’t need to add the blur to your uniform logo. Great video nonetheless!
The blurring doesn’t always follow your movement accurately which reveals your school logo, albeit not the school name. Also the blurring sometimes stays on the screen after scene changes. The suggestion of wearing a badge is a good idea! Great video series so far - I love your interesting observations about the stations & surroundings.
Thanks for the tip
Awesome Visuals Riku! How do you get those drone shots?
Did I actually come to this video 2 hours late? Oh well. Anyways nice video Riku, I don’t know why it is just me or are you dressed like one of the Harry Potter characters? Oh and I am warning you do not lay on that floor again. I bet someone did a _____ there.
Central Line 1992 Tube Stock
Very professional I must say 👍 greetings from bus driver from Golders Green
My Nan lives in Hainault. And she used to take me on the Central Line into Central London and Stratford.
Nice video Riku
Why are you laying on floor of train?? Bellend get a life and a real job
Woah there, you need to think before you comment. Riku is 13, of course they have no job yet. The fact you think you’re smart enough to think you can say for them to get a job shows you’re a jobless person who carelessly tries to make this channel die… The fact you’re saying for Riku to get a job makes me think you’re already smart enough to predict their age and assume for them to get a job. You are the one who should get a life, and maybe a job in an office, not McDonald’s. People these days.. 😮
Awesome video Riku! Wow that was empty and why was there blurring?
I know why. Because they don't want to leak private information.
They were in school uniform they don't want people to find their school on Google ass that's private information
Hello Riku! This is SouthEastLondonBusEnthusiast. This was a cool summary about Grange Hill Station and I think route 362 goes to Grange Hill Station but it terminates there. Btw, Loved the video and keep up the good work! Also, your subscriber count from 2K has gone up fast! Almost at 3K! What do you think you will do at 3K?
Awesome Riku! Currently making your so said out of context stuff! So far I'm.... only 10% complete. Whilst this says I'll have to add more, I don't care! My dream one day would be to meet you! Love your videos Riku!
Grange Hill was a TV series about a school. Not sure if it was a part of Grange Hill.
Grange Hill in fact was a TV Series but It wasn't actually filmed in the actual Grange Hill. It was filmed in a school in Kingsbury in North West London.

The Central Line uses 1992 Stocks, but not the point. Amazing stuff! I had a dream last night where I met you!
Am I the only one who thinks the trains in this video sound lower pitched?
They do. It’s because his voice was too high pitched so he decided to change the pitch so it sounds less girly
Who would a name a station London Fields, nothing wrong with it but its kinda odd
At least buses can use the tunnel and that's counts as public transport. My only complaint is that not enough buses are using the tunnel and that's the big appeal here for me. No Charlton service mentioned and the 472 can provide that, also more 24 hour options, a terminal point at Canary Wharf to support the Superloop bus could work. The 330 could provide more useful links than just Canning Town, Upton Park and Forest Gate areas. Maybe extend it New Cross or Peckham Rye to support 53 and 177.And more buses should go to other TH (Tower Hamlets) areas like Mile End via Limehouse and Poplar. This is where the 335 bus can come in. Ive already stated my opinion on the consultation already but I doubt TFL want to consider these. They promised us 37-40 buses per hour but they reduced it to 20. Why even build the tunnel, the 108 bus is not even going to change. But you still see double deckers late at night to Lewisham.
Even the slow trains from Barking to Southend don’t go to Grays or Tilbury. Means you’ve gone on the Tilbury loop, which takes much longer!
Ummm new video out on Saturday? 😊
I totally didn’t like my own comment 😂
yes, episode 3 of the Hainault loop :)
Great video looks nice place day out. You do anazing job explaining, commentary & interviewing staff ruislip railway. You should do some heritage railways riku
Great video as usual. Will you be coming to Poland for the summer break this year?
Great video, very informative 👍
Ok, this is epic. New subscriber! Nice work Riku, keep it coming! :)
